We called in on Friday to ask if they would be open on Sunday, it was very busy, the atmosphere was good and the staff member friendly, so we booked for Sunday night for the seven of us.

On Sunday, it was rather quiet, in fact a bit dead. That should have meant attentive service, but they obviously didn't have the top team on as our meal took a long time to order and a long time to arrive. It was hard to attract the attention of the waiting staff, who were more interested in their mobile phones than their customers. When they forgot part of our dessert order completely after a few minutes of fruitless waving one of our party had to get up and go to the bar to remind them.

The food was very ordinary, and at about £30 per head definitely over-priced for what it was. The sign outside says 'chic dining'; it is not chic. If you want fish and chips or burgers then on a night other than Sunday it may be OK, but there are plenty of other places in the town...

Popped in for a bite as we were staying next door. I had soup & nachos which were both pretty good. Partner had the fish & chips and was well impressed. Fish was obviously very fresh, lightly crumbed and cooked perfectly. Had to wait a while to order but after that service was very good. We were so impressed by the food we stayed for dessert, creme brulee was the perfect consistency with a good "2 tap crack" topping, partner had the pecan brownie which was slathered in caramel sauce and delicious also. We were both impressed and wondered how we had not discovered this place the previous 3 years we've been to Pitlochry for Enchanted Forest!

We had a meal here before going to the Enchanted Forrest Attraction in Pitlochry. Called to book a table about half an hour beforehand and although we arrived early we were shown to our waiting table. The choice of food was good and so were the wines, however, I found the food and drink to be very expensive for what it was. We ordered a bowl of chilli nachos which for £6.60 was an extremely small portion - not enough to share between 2. One of our party ordered a margherita pizza and it was really quite small for the almost £10 price tag. I had steak and ale pie - the chips were 'skinny' fries and not particularly good but the veg was lovely. Chicken fajitas were ordered and the portion size was superb - lots of chicken (breast), peppers and they came on a sizzler. Pint of lager was almost £5 (peroni) and a large wine was almost £6. I would recommend Victorias because the food was fresh, the staff were pleasant and attentive and it has a good atmosphere, however I felt it was expensive for what was served.

They squeezed us in, fitting us in around their bookings and rattled out some gorgeous grub. Child-friendly and nice atmosphere.
