Description: The Old Mill Inn offers a menu to delight every palate. We pride ourselves on serving the best fresh local produce and our dishes have been created to offer a wide choice, incorporating everything from old favourites such as golden whole tail scampi & golden chips through to a smorgasbord of delectable salmon on our popular Tay salmon platter - all with the Old Mill Inn's own twist, of course! We also have a daily specials board to choose from. The Old Mill restaurant is open each day from 8am for breakfast and we serve delicious meals between 12pm - 9pm daily. From November to April the kitchen may be closed between 3-5pm. We offer indoor and outdoor seating - if the weather is nice, there's nothing better than enjoying a cold drink on the decking watching the world go by to the sound of the mill wheel. If you have any dietary requirements please inform staff on arrival. We are delighted to offer free WiFi access* throughout the Bar & Bistro.

Just off the beaten track but a great place to sit on a sunny day outside on the decking. Not expensive. Serves good food as well and plenty of staff so the service is quick. Party of 8 the women all had a sandwich and they reported that they were very good some of them left some crusts but one of our party neilly1967 soon cleared the plates.

We stopped here on our way from Edinburgh to Loch Ness. The restaurant was recommended by the really lovely folks at the wine shop Drinkmonger (stop in there!) around the corner. It did not disappoint. The entire staff was truly welcoming and friendly. This restaurant has both a dining room and an upscale pub. We were originally directed to the dining room but it was a bit stuffy so we relocated ourselves to a nice little low table in front of the cozy fireplace in the pub.

They have several local ales on tap which were quite interesting - we always like to taste the locally brewed stuff. As far as food, well between the two of us we were quite hungry so we ordered up. I ordered the fish and chips which were crisp, not greasy, and the rocket and parmesan salad which was about the biggest bowl of rocket I've ever seen. One can only eat so much rocket, but I soldiered on in the name of not having to eat again for a good long while. Hubs got the vegetarian option of the egg mayonnaise sandwich and some creamy mash which he also declared to be very good.

Pitlochry itself was one of our favorite towns on our road trip and The Old Mill was an excellent relaxing lunch stop up through the highlands.

Great pub with attentive staff, good beer and tasty burgers.
Enjoyed the pub setting so much that we returned again later in the evening. Lovely place for some summertime beers.
