Description: The Old Mill Inn offers a menu to delight every palate. We pride ourselves on serving the best fresh local produce and our dishes have been created to offer a wide choice, incorporating everything from old favourites such as golden whole tail scampi & golden chips through to a smorgasbord of delectable salmon on our popular Tay salmon platter - all with the Old Mill Inn's own twist, of course! We also have a daily specials board to choose from. The Old Mill restaurant is open each day from 8am for breakfast and we serve delicious meals between 12pm - 9pm daily. From November to April the kitchen may be closed between 3-5pm. We offer indoor and outdoor seating - if the weather is nice, there's nothing better than enjoying a cold drink on the decking watching the world go by to the sound of the mill wheel. If you have any dietary requirements please inform staff on arrival. We are delighted to offer free WiFi access* throughout the Bar & Bistro.

Having had a previous poor experience here last year, as in they ran out of food, thought we would try again.
I loved the set up and decor,a lovely spacious bar/restaurant.
We had drinks to start served by a Barman with a lack of humour!
We were shown to a spacious clean booth.
The waitress was a little stern and had to re check our order.
I opted for the special chicken Kiev with chips, my friends all had the burgers, they even catered for our 1 year old kindly allowing us to have garlic bread which was not on the menu.
The presentation of all of our meals was 1st class. All of our meals were of a really high standard, thoroughly enjoyable and don't think we left a single thing. As we had had a lovely rocket and Parmesan salad and mixed artisan bread and oil to start which were sublime,we could only manage one dessert.....the creme brûlée which was smooth creamy and very well made.
The staff had a very obvious change over and the new waiter was helpful and friendly.
We will deffinately return.

We ate here on a Friday night. The food was all good pub food - decent ingredients all properly cooked. The staff were all exceptionally bright and helpful - it seemed like a good pace to work! Although it is a pub / restaurant the atmosphere in the restaurant area is good - suitable for families. We were a party of 4 we all had starters, mains, coffee - 3 of us had a glass of wine - £20 per head including a 10% tip - good value.

We usually just have a drink in here but thought we should really give the food a go and had a really nice meal. We ate in the bar area where there are some large booths along the wall, there is a restaurant in the second part of bar which looks very nice and bright and clean but on a Sunday night eating in the bar area gave a bit more atmosphere. The staff are always polite, wine and choice of beer perfectly acceptable, maybe a little expensive for a small town, more like city prices but its a good place to drink so you have the choice. The food was really good, haggis tower, smoked salmon from nearby Dunkeld, black pudding and beetroot to start and my main course of lamb was fantastic, really well cooked, pink, very tender and nicely presented. This is a restaurant, it is not pub food although there is steak pie, burgers etc on the menu and it succeeds both as a very good pub and a really good restaurant. In the better weather it has a nice seating area outside beside the watermill and is well worth checking out.
