Torrdarach is a beautifully restored large individual's country/holiday home. Everything you can ask for ditto all other rave reviews. Loved emphasis on fresh local food. How much more local can eggs be than from your own hens? This is a wonderful location just outside the main part of the city; an easy walk if you don't mind uphill. Returning from the town use the gate and come through the garden, a lot more pleasant than continuing on the road.

Room Tip: Rooms vary considerably in size. We booked late and had a perfectly comfortable but small room. We...

Hi ABCSanDiego, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay and thanks very much for taking the time to write a review of Torrdarach House. I'm pleased you liked the eggs from our hens. The hens are proving very popular with our guests and their eggs even more so! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Scotland and the trip back home went well. Maybe we will see you again sometime. Thanks again, Struan

Hi Madeleine and Roger. Louise and I are delighted you enjoyed your stay so much. Thanks very much for taking the time to write a review, it really is much appreciated. I hope your car withstood the additional weight of Stephanie's House of Bruar purchases, together with her 60kg suitcase and cast iron thermos! It really was a pleasure meeting you all and hopefully we will see you again at Torrdarach House. Thanks again, Struan.

Great welcome at Torrdaach House, this is a lovely location, just off the main street in Pitlochry and very quiet.... Beautiful surroundings, well kept garden and lovely views.
Rooms are beautiful and well furnished to high standard, everything catered for. Lounge is relaxing and great choice of whiskies to choose from and well priced, no need to head down to the pub. Grand selection of DVD's for the rooms which have wide screen tv's with DVD player.
Most comfortable bed we have ever had.... Breakfast is great, all locally sourced produce, plus little extras and great quality meat....We would recommend this guest house for a relaxing stay that provides great value for money...

Room Tip: Room 1 is beautiful, spacious and great views.

At last: a B&B for the 21st century! We can thoroughly recommend this contemporary and tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean home-from-home (I am a clean freak) perched on a south-facing hillside overlooking the town. Our room was the smallest but had everything we needed. I liked the shower gel and liquid soap dispensers which added a touch of luxury. The bathroom suite is new with a generous sized standalone Mira power shower.
We were welcomed with a good tasting pot of tea served in bone china with warm buttered banana cake served in the bright sun-drenched lounge. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were happy to serve fresh coffee late at night at no extra cost.
Breakfast was delicious. My husband enjoyed a generous good quality cooked breakfast and I had hot smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast. There was also a choice of croissants, cereals etc. Everything seems to have been carefully and locally sourced.
Would we return ? Without a doubt,YES. .

Hi Rasterberry, many thanks for your kind review of Torrdarach House. I am very pleased you enjoyed your short stay and am delighted that we met the exacting standards of a self-confessed 'clean freak'. Marvelous. I hope the rest of your trip north went well and that the drive back to London didn't take too long! Hopefully we will see you again. Thanks again. Regards, Struan

Had a lovely one night stay - wish it had been longer! We have stayed in Pitlochry many times but somehow have managed to miss this B&B - now hope to return soon. Received a warm welcome from the owners Struan and Louise. The room was great; the house is kept spotlessley clean, and is tastefully decorated. Breakfast was great, and it was a treat to watch the red squirrels come and go in the lovely garden.
