My husband and I came to stay at East Haugh for our 10yr wedding anniversary as a special treat and we were not disappointed. The hotel is gorgeous, our room was amazing and all the staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable.

We stayed in the deluxe room and it really was heaven to have a wood fire and jacuzzi bath. We felt truly spoiled.

We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food and wine were excellent. Breakfast was outstanding too. The chocolate slab was also delicious!!

There was not one thing I could fault with this hotel. We truly loved our stay and it made for a very very special celebration.

Thank you to all the staff for making it so memorable for us. It will forever be a very happy memory of a very special experience.

Stayed with friends for an overnight short break. Lovely venue in a great part of Scotland which is easy to get to being so close to the A9. Rooms were small but well presented with quirky features and great en suite. Food was stunning and this hotel is worth visiting just for the food. But the service at dinner let it down with member of staff badly in need of customer skill training. In fairness she had only been at the hotel for two weeks but management should make sure their staff are ready to give a high standard of service before being allowed to meet guests.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main hotel building. Some rooms are accessed by going outside.

Booked a twin room in the eaves, but asked for ground floor room if possible...... Hotel called before we left, to say it was.
The room was in a modernised cottage outwith the main hotel.
Quiet, own door, table outside to enjoy a drink before bed and a morning cup of tea.
Very comfortable room with everything we needed.
Just going to that little bit of trouble made such a difference.
Staff lovely, taking the time to chat to all customers.
Food delicious and fresh, both at dinner and breakfast.
Drinks a bit pricey.
A classy little place!

Room Tip: The Cottage rooms are lovely.Stayed in two of them.

Family had stayed here many years ago, so on our visit from Australia we thought we stay. Not disappointed, the rooms were well appointed and clean. Facilities excellent and the restaurant was brilliant (see separate review).

A beautiful quiet spot.

My husband and I stayed here to begin our honeymoon while we travelled up to the highlands. The room was beautiful with some special treats for weary travellers. We had a lovely G&T in the sunshine before dining in the restaurant with the most wonderful fish dish I’ve had in a long time. The hotel also surprised us with a bottle of fizz during dinner to mark our special holiday and the breakfast was also fabulous. Small details go a long way and this hotel is superb!

Many thanks

Helen and Steve
