“Hogmonay 2013!”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

We're just back from our New Year break at the Tigh-na-Cloich Hotel. Our first time here, hospitality was excellent, afternoon teas, dinners, breakfast - all to the best standard. Room was comfortable and warm - overall we had a great time, atmosphere in village on Hogmonay and New Year's Day was lively and happy and we will be returning for another stay at this hotel later in the year! All the very best for 2014 to everyone at the Tigh-na-Cloich! Suzanne & Colin

After our 7th visit in 6 years we thought it was time to put our views about this lovely hotel we found in the Scottish Highlands.

This hotel has a really warm and friendly atmosphere with excellent service. The meals are always so delicious and varied. The rooms are extremely comfortable each one with a different layout but mostly with lovely views and excellent decor.

The proprietors and all the staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. This year we met a new staff member whose service was "Top Class" and everyone was made to feel at home.

Room Tip: Best views are from front rooms.

Stayed here for three nights and would certainly return. The room was comfortable and well appointed with superb views over the surrounding countryside . The food was excellent with a varied menu both at breakfast and dinner.. Plenty to see and do in the area, and an ideal place to spend a few days.

We stayed here before and enjoyed it so much that when we came back to Pitlochry that we would stay here again. We had a lovely view of the town and valley beyond. Breakfast was delicious and the service was personal.

Room Tip: Room 7 at the top has fabulous views.

My boyfriend and I are just back from a fantastic stay at the Tigh Na Cloich. The service provided by Pete and Helen was Amazing from start to finish. They couldn't have been more accommodating. The rooms were great with very comfy beds and the food was outstanding. We had booked in for dinner prior to arrival and had a wonderful meal on the first night. The food was so good and reasonable, especially compared to the rest of Pitlochry that we had dinner there on our second night as it would have been foolish to dine else where. Also the cooked breakfasts in the hotel were wonderful. Best breakfast I have had in years. My boyfriend was ill during our stay and didn't make it down for breakfast on the last day. Helen is so kind that she offered to make a bacon sandwich for me to take up to him.

I can't recommend the Tigh Na Cloich Hotel strongly enough. Pete and Helen are the perfect team and make you feel most welcome. We were genuinely touched by their kindness.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Good welcome introducing the local area with a map and chat . Allocated a delightful double bedded room with pleasing view & well sized ensuite.

This must be rated as one of the best. Friendly welcome looked after all the time, and the food was out of this world. Ideally situated for the Festival theatre we went to a matinee but had it been evening an early meal would have been arranged again it showed the level of care and attention. Great small intimate hotel great location. Just what we needed.
