This distillery is set on lovely grounds outside Pitlochry, and our tour guide, John, was very entertaining & charming. Oh, and their whiskey is outstanding!

The location and ambience couldn't be beat. We arrived for the tour about 45 minutes early and took a beautiful hike to the Black Spout, then really enjoyed the extensive tour. Highly recommend.

Beautiful small scale distillery. Loved the smallness of the place. The tour was very interesting and informative. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We walked to the distillery from Pitlochry via the Black Spout walk on the walkhighlands website. Would highly recommend.

Umm. Where to begin. The location and site is absolutely breathtaking. They really have hit a niche in that part. Staff were however dull and mardy. We wanted to buy some whisky but wanted to try one or two whiskies before. No chance of that. We asked to use the toilet as we had travelled 7 hours in the car. Again, no chance of that. Not one of the staff here was willing, compassionate or warm. Not fussed on returning and certainly not bothered about buying their whisky. Deanston were far better and far more lovely as we're Highland Park on Orkney. All of which we visited on fhe same trip.

We did the whiskey tour we found it very interesting
We started off in the tasting room waiting to go on the tour.
We were given some very good tips on our selected whiskey by a very knowledgeable lady.

During the tour you are given two samples of whiskey from a selection of three types and you are also given a glass to take home

We then went on the tour this was fine if you were able to climb stairs but not so good if you are in a wheelchair like our son.

However with a little help we managed to climb the stairs unfortunately the lady who took our money never mentioned about the stairs

The tour ended with a visit to the distillery shop.
