One of the highlights of our trip. The Craigatin House was lovely. Well maintained....large room....immaculate bathroom....so comfortable ! Martin was very welcoming and helpful...gave us info about some things in the area we would have missed. I am very fussy about where I lay my head at night ...but the Craigton exceeded my expectations !

Stayed 2 nights in a deluxe double room in this delightful B&B, very conveniently located at one end of the main st yet quiet and peaceful. We were impressed by the contemporary decor and warm hospitality and really enjoyed the breakfasts! The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, although the bathroom was quite small. Overall we would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Pitlochry.

We have stayed at the Craigatin Guest house & Courtyard twice this year June & October, and both times have not been disappointed.

The décor transforms this old building to a mini Mal Maison, with rich luxurious colours met with traditional Perth & Kinross stonework.
Breakfast is in a league of it’s own with whisky porridge and apple pancakes not to be missed.

Owners Andrea & Martin have taken levels of service to a new height; making sure every guest is welcomed and has their needs met.
They offered great recommendations of restaurants in town, sight seeing and local hill walking routes.

The exterior grounds have also been given the Craigatin treatment, with beautiful gardens and views.
It was so angelic to walk back to the guest house from having dinner in Pitlochry to find the entire surrounding grounds sparkling with twinkle lights – Made it look that extra bit special.

A Touch of Class!

My partner and I are just back from one night at this lovely house. We stayed in Standard room no 8 - there was nothing standard about this room! Large super king bed, modern tasteful decoration, lovely shower room, good tree views from the bay window, ample supply of water/tea/coffee/biscuits plus a great breakfast.

Would recommend the Old Armoury Restaurant for pre-theatre meal. We had an excellent meal with very attentive and friendly service.

Simply superb - get there as soon as you can! We will be back :)

The Craigatin House looks great on the website and the real thing is every bit as wonderful. We stayed for 3 nights in early October 2008 and our room was very cleanand spacious with a view over forest and mountains. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet.
The breakfasts were very good with lots of variety and served in a lovely conservatory.
The owners even let us use their phone to call home to Canada. They were very accomodating with internet and use of their laptop computer. There was a train strike for one day while we were there and they helped us confirm our train departure. Lots of great information on where to eat and what to see.
The best pub that we found in Scotland is in Pitlochry, called the Moulin inn. Wonderful food and atmosphere. Definately go to the Pitlochry festival theatre while you are there. Great theatre at a reasonble price.

The two of us stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful accommodation during mid September. Having found the website informative and attractive (it really is as nice as it looks!!) we booked at very reasonable cost.
We had a very kind welcome, and the room was perfect - clean, modern, spacious and warm! The breakfast menu was varied and delicious! We really couldn't fault the service. The owners were always happy to give us recommendations of restaurents and places to visit during our stay. (Our favourite restaurent was the Fern Cottage, although a little pricey ... but don't go to the Pitlochry Festival Theatre to eat - overpriced, basic, mass produced food - it was horrible!!). We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly! We had a very enjoyable stay and would love to return sometime!
