This hotel is having some serious work done on it and money invested, that was evident throughout, it did not however detract from the pleasure of staying there. From the well groomed receptionist offering a whiskey on arrival to the full Scottish breakfast on departure everything was as you would expect from a large hotel. The Kingfisher bar next door provides the bar snacks, football and drinks in a pub atmosphere. My only gripe would be that the bathroom in our room needed upgrading, it did it's job, but was very tired. I am sure that this would form part of the upgrading and did little to spoil our stay in a grand room with excellent space and views. I must stress that the price was what made it excellent value.

Brilliant weekend at Fisher's Hotel last weekend. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was enormous and very well furnished. The food prepared by the chef, Colin Masson for our celebratory evening meal was superb. It was an absolutely magical occasion and they even arranged for the mountains to be covered in snow. Well done to all at Fisher's Hotel!n

Arrived at this hotel on burns night and to celebrate a friends birthday . As we have not been to a burns night before and we would go again .the haggis was bagpiped in and an address to the haggis . The soup was wonderful as was the haggis and the beef main course as was the dessert. Complementary
Drink on arrival was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent and the room was good and quiet
All in all we enjoyed our stay

The Burns night was indeed a great success for us and will be even better next year. I am delighted you attended and enjoyed the celebrations. I have tried my own version of Burns as below but have been advised not to give up my day job

We booked this lovely hotel in the centre of the picturesque town of Pitlochry to celebrate my Dad's 60th party conjoined with a Burns Supper: what a fantastic night. On arrival we checked into our cosy, clean room and congregated for afternoon tea; a vast selection of delicious sandwiches and scrumptious cream cakes served with hot tea and coffee. The Burns Supper itself was truly marvellous - a traditional "Pipping" of the Haggis and a Address to a Haggis. The ambience of the dining room was excellent, and the service impeccable. After a long, joyful night we woke up to a wonderful, hearty Scottish Breakfast. Would definitely come back. Thanks (again) for a lovely evening!

5 out of 5 - What a great result for the Fishers team. The newly refurbished Garden Room makes a fantastic venue for intimate private events.

I do hope we can welcome you back in the not to distant future

A wonderful venue to celebrate a 60th Birthday with friends and family. All staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. Wonderful catering, we were spoilt with a wonderful afternoon tea on arrival, a delicious 4 course dinner in the evening and breakfast was of a high standard with a wide range of choices. Following an afternoon/evening of celebrations a good night's sleep was enjoyed by myself and family in our warm and comfortable family room, ample space for myself, husband and teenage daughter. Would certainly enjoy a return visit in the not too distant future.

Stayed at Fishers on the 21st January 2014. This was my first visit and I was a bit unsure about booking it as some reviews I had read were not encouraging. I need not have worried as it was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly staff and a complimentary whisky when booking at the reception was welcome following a long drive. I had my dinner in the relaxing bar where service and food was very good. Bedroom and bed was very clean and the room looked as if it had been recently refurbished as did other areas of the hotel. There was signs of painting and decorating still being carried out throughout some areas. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was probably as good and if not better than I have had at any other hotel. Also very affordable.

Arrived on 13th January, to a wonderfully warm welcome by the staff, even though we were late in arriving due to traffic a very good dinner was prepared for us with a choice of menus. The bedroom was extremely well appointed with a large en suite bathroom with shower, all was immaculately clean. Breakfast consisted of a large choice of cerials, fruit, pastries etc. followed by Full Scottish breakfast or choices of other hot dishes. Dinner each evening was three courses with a wide menu to choose from all very well cooked and served. The Staff were all polite, efficient, and friendly . The Hotel at present is being refurbished but with no inconvenience to customers. The Hotel is situated in the heart of Pitlochry within easy reach of many activities and attractions and of course the beautiful Cairngorms.

Room Tip: All rooms are delightful with no apparent noise problems.
