Logierait Pine Lodges
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed February 3, 2013

We rang Logierait Pine Lodges at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday in January looking for a week's accommodation having been let down by another venue. They were really helpful, waiting back until we arrived an hour later and preparing the lodge for our arrival. The lodge was excellent - clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The staff and owners continued to be really friendly and helpful during the week. The electric heating worked well, even in January, and with all electricity costs included in the week's rent it was excellent value. We will definately consider going to Logierait again for an out of season stay.

this was our first holiday booking a lodge as accommodation for both my family and our best friends. as a winter weekend break in january (to beat the january blues !!) we could not have asked for a better location and accommodation. firstly i would like to advise the service we received from ann + colin both before we arrived and during our stay could not have been bettered. they were in touch with us before we left and kept us updated on when could enter our room and also details of the local weather which made us feel so welcome before we even arrived. then on our arrival they continued that excellent personal service with our introduction to our lodge and their recommendations of the local area. these personal touches have now made us converts to booking a lodge for our young family and will be booking logierait for our summer vacation as the area is beautiful and there will be plenty to do in the local area in the summer months. ps if you visit remember and take some extra bread with you as the lodges big family of ducks are a bonus treat to wake up to in the morning - guaranteed to make you smile .....

Visited last week on a Monday to Friday trip booked through "Glasgows Great Deal". Had a lovely time & will definitely return. We love hillwalking & cycling so packed our boots & bikes. There was snow on the Monday but when we got to the lodges the paths & roads had been cleared & gritted by staff. The lodges are also in a great location for a winter break, being only a quarter of a mile from the main A9, so no need to drive in snow to a remote location. We got a friendly welcome & tour of the lodge and were told to ask if we needed or had forgotten anything just to ask.
We stayed in a one bedroom lodge as it was just the two of us and there was plenty of space. The lodge was well equipped and very warm, despite the sub zero temperatures. There is no need to bring tea, coffee, sugar, tin foil, cling film or kitchen roll as all were supplied, along with dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cloth & scourer. Kitchen is well kitted out with all you might need.
We cycled into Pitlochry along cycle route 7 in the snow. Was only around 5 miles each way but a nice road. We got brave another day & cycled the 23 miles round Loch Rannoch in the snow & ice. I have never been so cold, despite the 5 layers & winter clothes, but back to the lodge & a hot bath & some mulled wine heated us up.
A really lovely place to stay and very nice staff. Have recommended to friends & family

Went to the logierait lodge the wkend after new year to enjoy some rest. Our girls 2 n 5yrs old loved the Lodge. V clean n got all the items you needed for away from home. Staffs were v friendly. Close to Pitlochry, great for walks in the Tay forest park and the Braur falls not far away. Highly recommend this lodge especially to ppl going for the Nae Limit adventure as it's very close by.

We have just returned from a four night stay at logierait lodges and would like to say how enjoyable it was, a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. We stayed in lyon lodge which was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The lodge faced the river and the view from the balcony was beautiful we could'nt have asked for anything nicer. Thank you for a lovely break and hope to return very soon.

Stayed in these lodges over New Year, with some friends and family. Had a great time, the living area was huge. All the mod cons including a dish washer !

Would recommend staying to anyone and will re-visit these lodges - great value for money !

Just back from our christmas vacation at logierait lodges. We were met by katie who was very nice and showed us round our lodge. We would like to thankyou for all your special touches you left for us at this time of the year,it was very much appreciated. The lodges are great and all face the river with everything you could need for a good self catering holiday. Everything is spotlessly clean and little extras are left to make your holiday even better." Loved the big white fluffy towels" you even get tea, coffee and sugar.salt and pepper. Tin foil, cling film and lots of things you would normally forget. We had a 2 bedroom lodge which had 2 double beds. The living area was perfect which was all open plan and had nice views across the hills. We had 2 dogs with us which wasn't a problem as long as you let them know in advance. The lodges are very easy to get to as they are only about a mile of the A9 south of Pitlochry. We would recommend these lodges for a relaxing holiday from which to tour the surrounding areas. Nothing is a problem to them, just ask. We hope to see you again in the future. Thanks
