Stayed here for 2 nights whilst fishing in area, The owners and staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. The rooms were spotless and had everything i needed. The building itself is a work of art and the gardens are lovely. would stay there again.

Once again we have returned from a wonderful stay at the Birchwood Hotel, our 4th or 5th visit.
John and Viv are very warm and friendly hosts, the rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, with en suite facilities. There is a hospitality tray provided.
Do be sure to have your evening meal at the hotel, the menu has something for all tastes, the food is locally sourced, delicious and beautifully presented. The only problem is making a choice.
After your meal you can relax in the lounge, by the fire with a drink.
A fantastic location for visiting all the beautiful sights of Perthshire.
We travelled with our adult daughter.

Stayed here for two nights. The accommodation is lovely with large clean rooms.
All staff I found extremely friendly. I had a lovely meal while on my stay & found the food to be of good quality & very tasty!
Hope to return again some time! Would definitely recommend.

Good people with a nice facility. Good food and clean rooms. Would stay there again. walking distance to downtown. Two distilleries in the area that both give tours and are great experiences. the downtown area is nice with good restaurants.

My wife and I had spent a wonderful month in Britain, starting off in southern England and ending up in the far northwest Highlands of Scotland. Our journey from Achiltibuie to Loch Winnoch, near Glasgow for the return flight home, required a stopover in the middle and, while I decry single night stays in B&Bs and country hotels, a bit of research prior to leaving home came up with the Birchwood Hotel.
We had visited Pitlochry during several prior trips so the village needed no introduction. Our choice of the Birchwood turned out perfectly. The room was comfortable and spotless. The food, all locally sourced, was top notch. The owners could not have been more kind and welcoming, even understanding our having to spend but one night.
Should we get back to Pitlochry, we will have no need of further accommodation research!

Just returned from a 2 night break. John and Viv are wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming. Booked a superior room, very spacious with large modern en suite bathroom. It is situated in a quiet location but just a short walk from the centre of town. Breakfast had a wide choice, very tasty and the fresh coffee was superb. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Treat yourself and book a superior room!

Our experience at Birchwood was absolutely lovely! The owners were so warm and helpful -- they helped us plan out a scenic drive through the area, and even emailed me a recipe for one of the desserts they served at dinner!

Definitely make sure to eat there (we did both nights) -- the food is so fresh and lovingly made. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and in the evening you can relax in their lounge next to the fireplace with a drink -- it truly feels like you are guests in their private home!

We fell in love with Scotland, and this inn in particular. If you're ever in the area, definitely make a point to check this out!
