As I've been using this place for decades on my way to/from the Highlands on mountaineering trips, I decided it was about time I wrote a review on it (although I was there yesterday). First off, this isn't fancy dining - formerly known as a 'greasy spoon' but now a bit more upmarket - where you get a good helping of basic (but tasty) food at a great price - just the sort of stuff you want if you're heading off climbing/hiking/skiing/canoeing. In saying that, it's used extensively by truckers and other regular drivers, and locals. The breakfast fry-ups are legendary (sold all day) but they do all sorts of other stuff and a decent kids' menu. They are often rushed off their feet because the place is often very busy (not surprisingly) but the service is always okay and you never have to wait too long.
For value, this place cannot be beaten!
