“A trip to the theatre”
Reviewed October 12, 2012 via mobile

Went two nights to see two different plays. Both were well done and very funny. Arsenic and Old Lace is still playing and worth going to see. The shop is well stocked with gifts and the staff are very helpful. Pitlochry itself is very nice and the scenery in the area is spectacular.

“A must if you are in Pitlochry”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

This is a superb little theatre. During the summer months it puts on about 6 productions, and if you are staying in Pitlochry, it is an absolute must see. The seats are very comfortable and extremely well raked, so even if you are in the back row, you get an excellent view, and the acoustics are first class.

“Fantastic Theatre”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

Saw three plays this time round and all were utterly fantastic. Can't fault this theatre. Tip for first timers, leg room is bigger in the front stalls. Best seats are front row of the rear stalls.

“"Rope" performance at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

We enjoyed a good performance of "Rope" in early September 2012. The theatre was easy walking distance from our inn (the Craigroyston in the heart of town). The theatre was comfortable and it was easy to purchase tickets from multiple locations in town or online. We booked ours at the visitor's center and picked them up at the box office - no issues. I wish we had more time to see a sound play.

“Loved The 39 Steps”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

We loved our visit to the Pitlochry Festival Theatre. We were visiting Scotland for a couple of weeks in early September and this was one of the highlights for us. The 39 Steps was hilarious, the theatre design terrific with excellent line of sight throughout the audience, and we were so fortunate to strike up conversations with lovely people both pre show in the lobby and then with folks next to us in the theatre itself. Would love to have stayed a few more days in Pitlochry to take advantage of a few other productions.
