This is the kind of place you shouldn't miss while staying in Great Britain - a typical larger pub with almost every single course being chips&something and about 10 different kinds of beers ranging from eurobeers to heavy stouts. We were "lucky" to visit this place during a Glasgow Celtics vs. Some FormerRussianRepublic team and the only table available was directly below the TVs facing the crowd (and not the TV)... We felt quite discomfortable as everybody gazed at us for a while, but after the guests found out we're harmless they didn't care anymore.
Oh, the food - I still think there is a lot of education need to be done in steak grades; although I always order medium-well grade, I got definitely a "well done" steak here including a LOT of chips. The meat was OK but not of steakhouse quality. You also have to order at the bar and know your table number and the staff was a bit distracted and it took quite a while to enter our menu into the software for the otherwise nice lady behind the bar. So if you're passing by and are hungry, the place is fine.
