Description: Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.

“Faultless”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

We took advantage of an "Itison" promotion which offered a two course meal for 2 people for £19. You are never sure just what to expect with this type of promotion but on this occasion 63 Tay Street exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. When the plates arrived at the table first impressions were that the portions were a bit on the small side. However the food is rich and you certainly don,t leave feeling hungry.

For those who, like us, enjoy fine dining, this is the ideal place. The restaurant is tastfully decorated and has amazing views. Service was very good and the food was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious.

Dined at 63 a few times in the past but I thought it was even better on this occasion. Tasty, well cooked food at a reasonable price and beautifully presented .Certainly one of the better restaurants in perth and I will be visiting again!

“Excellent restaurant - superb steak”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2013

During our stay at nearby Dunkeld, my wife and I drove down to Perth to have lunch at 63 Tay Street. As serious meat lovers, we both had the Fillet Steak and must say that this was the best we have ever tasted. Both texture and flavour were spot on and the steaks were cooked to perfection, served with a nice lunch-size selection of vegetables and a tasty jus. We were most impressed with our lunch. Overall, the meal, the venue and the service were first class. We will be back very soon, probably for dinner this time - and fillet steaks too of course !
