Went there for a weekend to meet some friends, the receptionist was very friendly, handy for the train, bar is very quiet but plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The breakfast is beautiful, the haggis being the star. Free wifi too.

Staff were all friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and clean with good quality fixtures and bedding. Breakfast was delicious and included a vegetarian option as standard on the menu - some other hotels require you to book vegetarian breakfasts in advance. The hotel location is excellent as it is only 5 minutes walk to the station and a similar walk to city centre shopping area.

We were charged £120 per night for our room which is a bit more than we would prefer to pay - but there was high demand for rooms that weekend and I realise that hotels have to adjust their prices based on demand. Other similar hotels in the same area were charging £150 plus per night on that weekend.

There is some parking directly in front of the hotel, just off the street.

Two things to be aware off: 1) the hotel is located on a busy road, and 2) the hotel has a function room. However, we were in room 16 which is somewhere in the middle of the hotel and we heard no street noise at all from our room. There was a 50th birthday party being held in the function room but we could only hear a very faint noise from the music and it stopped at midnight, so this didn't cause us any problem and we slept very well.

Room Tip: Might be worth asking if you can have a room away from the street, and also finding out whether ther...

Stayed here for 1 night passing through. Had everything we needed. Although the double bed was just two singles pushed together. Nice room view onto road. Thin walls though, could hear the bathroom noises from next door. No elevator. Staff were fantastic especially in the restaurant. Try the full rack of ribs if you are there! Pleasant stay

Stayed for a week and a half for business in Perth. Very well suited for the town, easy to find and free parking out the front too.
The owners and the staff made my stay very enjoyable indeed. Staying by myself I always had someone to have a chat with and that really made me feel very welcome.
The rooms are lovely and clean, well appointed and the beds were really comfortable. The water was always hot and always plenty of it on a morning and there is a 32" tv not the tiny 19" ones you get in some places!
The food in the restaurant was of a high quality and home made. The breakfast was made to order, always hot and tasty and it was nice having a bit of haggis on there to make it different from generic "hotels by numbers" like premier inn etc.
Sad to see the owners having a few problems with staff but having worked in the trade its understandable! (By the way you could do a lot worse than promoting Laura to hotel manager, she is a real treasure!)
If I am working in the area or find myself lucky enough to visit for pleasure I will definitely be staying again

Thank you :)
