Just back home today from the Rewind Concert and this was a lovely place to stay. Shauna and Lesley were lovely ladies and to say the breakfast was hearty would be an understatement. Shauna was offering additional tea & toast and room 4 was very pleasant to stay in. Just looked at someone's previous review of this room commenting that it was too small. Erm,,,hello, the room is designed for single occupancy and you get what you pay for! The room was clean, there was no nasty surprises and the girls were courteous throughout! Well done girls... much appreciated! James from Glasgow

When we arrived at almond villa we were touched by how welcoming the staff were! We were shown to a lovely, clean room which was the perfect size for us. Having got ourselves settled we spoke to Shauna and asked for recommendations for dinner, she was more than happy to help! Some hotels I've previously stayed in could benefit from taking a leaf out of this ladies book! After a comfortable sleep we made our way down for breakfast. Lesley cooked a yummy breakfast which kept us going until tea! Thank you ladies, we will be back! Morgan

The Almond Villa is a nice little place for a stopover in Perth providing private parking for up to four cars right in front of the house and a good Scottish breakfast. We had a room for two looking into the garden which was nice, because it was quiet. I suppose the rooms with the window to the big street could be louder, but I don't know really. Our room was quiet, clean and totally ok - we even had a bath tub. The guesthouse is located quite near to the center and the host is a really friendly lady with a fabulous laughter. :)

Room Tip: Ask for the double room looking into the garden.

Stayed in the small single room which was just about worth what I paid for, was a little disappointed it was very cramp.
The narrow room had the shower in the bedroom, with the noisy saniflow toilet and basin in a cupboard at the end of the room.
The décor was for me a little dated and tired, although it was very clean and tidy.
My problem was the heat, could not sleep due to it, open the window and you get the noise from the very busy main room, close the window and it is so hot I found myself getting up in the middle of the night for a shower.
When I mentioned the heat, it was struggled off as it was not a concern, it is warm house come in the winter was the attitude.
Note to the owner, on a hot day it might be a good idea to open the windows before the guests arrive and close the curtains to keep the heat out.
Breakfast was average, hate ordering the night before but this seems the norm in Scotland Bed and Breakfasts/Guest Houses these days.
Sorry but will not be going back, stayed at better cheaper friendlier places in Perth.

Room Tip: avoid the small single

My sister and I stayed at this B and B on our first night out of Edinburgh heading north. I was simple and clean, abit small but fine for one night. Breakfast was traditonal Scotish but Shawna's savory scones were out of this world. She was warm and helpful with suggestions for places to eat and directions to area sites.

A very welcoming place to stay. Shona took time to help us with plans for evening in Perth. Room was spotless and breakfast was excellent too. Great value for money and readily recommended to others. If you find yourself in Perth on a Wednesday too take in the Greyfriars pub as its open mike night and they serve a great ale called An Teallach ale.

First class B&B. Felt very welcome on arrival, shown to our room with everything explained, from how to work the shower to the TV etc. The twin room we booked was ideal for my Husband and I - it was clean, fresh and comfortable. Great choice at breakfast, more than ample. We will definitely be telling friends and family about this little gem we have found.

Room Tip: The room we had was at the rear and was very quiet.
