as soon as you walk in the doors you can feel the heat , they do keep it very warm which is good for kids. excellent facilities, toddler pool, baby pool, training pool and the lagoon pool that leads to outside (yes people do actually go outside to swim here! even in the rain!) great flumes, amazing when you are a kid and still fun as adults, double toddler slide, and the baby area is lovely although the ground is awful in this bit im not sure what it is, obviously they dont want to use slippy tiles, but this floor is really uncomfortable, its like if you imagine that old 70's bobbly wallpaper, its like that but spiky and agony when you are kneeling on it with your baby! the two huge jacuzzis are great, and health club in nice too, spacious steam room and sauna with a tiny jacuzzi as well. there are lots of lifeguards everywhere and plenty of seating everywhere with views of the whole pool so parents of older kids can safetly watch swimming lessons etc without having to stand beside the water. excellent, well worth a day trip. oh, limited family changing rooms though so you might have to wait 5 minutes on one. and take flip flops the floors in the changing rooms are the olny bad point although they are mopped regularly its still not nice!

“Not Just for Kids”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Great few hours out. Good value for money adn under 5's have free entry. Flumes, playpool, normal swimming pool (sadly missing at venues like this), small childrens water play area, outdoor pool area, hot pools, training pool for children, and the list goes on. Staff were excellent and very helpful. We went on a sunday and after 1pm was getting pretty busy. Could benefit from more family changing areas and someone around to ensure outdoor shoes are not worn in the changing rooms. Very clean although some areas could be done with revamping.

Dropped in on this facility after a day on the hills.

The staff were VERY friemdly and helpful. The Pool temperature was just right to ease my aching muscles.

Spotlessly clean in all areas.

Liked this pool, good value for money and lots for the kids to do, although it is getting a bit grubby with old age and needs revamped.
