A great concert hall - modern, comfortable seating, well organised, and overall very impressive, as befits a modern city!

good venue, all seats have good views, if you want to eat or drink they also have a good varied menu.

Went to see Joan Armatrading and decided to eat out so tried the on site restaurant. Fabulous concert, the halls are lovely but the restaurant was a bit lacking. We were seated OK and then given a menu each which were not the same. One apparently was wrong. When our meal came I was a bit disappointed to see that a lovely piece of fish had been accompanied by ultra thin stringy chips instead of proper chips. These were not nice at all, very dry. Other than that, the peas were served on top of the salad (complete with dressing) which was a bit weird, and the glass of wine wasn't far off being better placed on the chips. We also asked for some sauce and 10 minutes later (half way through our meal) it still hadn't come so we asked again. It never arrived. Really annoying!

The acoustics have been improved. Badly designed seats - unnecessarily cramped, especially outwith the front block. The under-50s are attracted to some of the productions.
