Jane an John are very warm and welcoming hosts. They anticipate every wish! Even difficult dietary problems go "poof!". Thank you so much for everything again!!! Our room was homelike and the towels were so cozy. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with home-grown tomatoes. Where do you get that?

This is a great BnB. I'm a student and have been staying here for a few weeks while sorting out accommodation. Jane and John are great hosts and even gave me a lift up to the college each morning. Don't think there's a better place to stay in Perth.

We sadly had only a 1 night stop in Perth & stay here @ the end of our Scotland trip. Were warmly greeted by John & Jane upon our arrival. Were shown all details of room which was lovely. Recently completely renovated. John made sure we understood how everything worked. Extra amenities provided here that we didn't experience anywhere else. Coffee & tea pot options as well as bottled water & snacks provided. He even offered to brew us fresh coffee or tea right then. Thick fluffy towels & nice bath amenities. It is very evident they are proud of their lovely home. They could not do enough for us. John offered suggestions for dinner & marked out a walking map for us to follow, and also offered to drive us into town (of which it is really a reasonable walk) & pick us up later for our return. (Our best dinner while in Scotland was @ Bothbys - a recommendation of John's, by the way - delicious meal And 20% discount for being a Dalvey guest!) Lovely dining room. Breakfast was easily the best we had while in Scotland. Presentation was done very well. Coffee was excellent (not a standard we had found previously) & several choices for fresh fruit - what a treat! Our only fresh fruit breakfast offering during our 5 night stay in Scotland. Had a nice chat with John before leaving that morning. He even offered to drive & us follow him to help us get correctly headed to Edinburgh airport. They even waved as we drove away. As I said, as if we were guests in their home. We know we will return to Scotland again & will definitely return to enjoy what Perth area has to offer & no question we will stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you, John & Jane!

Loved it! John and Jane, are genuinely warm, welcoming, accommodating hosts. It is very evident that they really want your stay to be memorable and special. No detail has been overlooked. They have a beautiful home and will make you feel at home. Our room would rival any 4 star hotel. Quality throughout. Very cozy bed with brand new bedding. Recently redecorated, the room was clean, bright and spacious. The ensuite washroom was fitted with all brand new modern fixtures and thick, fluffy towels. Snacks, coffee, tea and bottled water was provided. The full Scottish breakfast was hearty and delicious. Fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal was set out also. A 10 minute walk through a lovely nearby park will take you right into downtown Perth. John and Jane will give you an excellent local map. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. This was our last night of a 12 night road trip of Scotland. We stayed at 8 B&B's during that time and this one was by far our favourite. Do yourself a favour and book it!

Room Tip: You can't go wrong. A beautiful home.

This is an excellent B&B. The accommodation is most comfortable, and both John and Jane were so welcoming and helpful. I was staying with two friends, and we were all very impressed with the cleanliness and with the decor - Even a teapot beside our kettle to cater for those who prefer such an option ! The breakfast menu was superb ! I returned home and told my husband that should a visit to Perth be in our diary on a future occasion then Dalvey would be THE place to stay !

Lovely B&B, easy walking distance to the city centre. The room and en suite were both nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. John and Jane were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and plenty to set you up for the day! Would definitely recommend this B&B.

We have stayed at the Dalvey twice now, what a truly fabulous B & B! John and Jane were so welcoming with nothing too much trouble. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was out of this world with the best tomatoes we have ever tasted! We arrived as valued guests but felt that we left as friends. Andy and Ali
