We stayed for 3 nights during T in the Park. This meant we were out late until 1 or 2am each night, and then slept in until midday. It was easy access and quiet enough in the morning not to disturb our long lie in. Bedroom was clean and well appointed with comfy bed, fridge, tv and plenty of storage. Breakfast was excellent, with good selection to choose from and great cooked food.

Overall it was an excellent stay and great value for money. I would highly recommend the beech grove if you are staying in the Perth area

Wonderful experience; try staying here just once and be made to feel so welcome and you will want to return again and again. Beautiful house, previously a Manse, kept in very good order and very, very clean. Breakfasts were excellent, good quality food, plenty of variety and generously provided. Beds were very comfortable and clean, quiet location and so we slept very well every night. Good central location for exploring the area either by train or car. Large car park and the Railway Station is only about twenty minuets walk away. Hosts very willing to share their knowledge and experiences giving much valued advice about travel and sightseeing. Well done and thank you for making our Scottish holiday so special. Colin and Christine.

Our first visit to Perth (wonderful city) and this was completed by this brilliant Guest House. Our room was quiet despite being near to the busy Dundee Road. As this is an older property it has old fashioned shutters that keep all of the traffic noise out and make you feel comfortable and private when closed. The rooms are large and comfortable as is the breakfast room. The breakfasts are wonderful and the hosts are two of the most helpful and friendly people I have ever met. We'll definitely be back!

Well, what a revelation! As soon as my partner and I walked in through the door of Beechgrove, we knew we were "home". 'Oh, what a lovely Indian rug! We have one at home, only not as nice!" I said to our lovely, beaming hostess and breakfast chef, Annie. The Indian theme continued in the spacious breakfast room, with beautiful blown-up photos of Indian scenes. I am mad for anything Indian. But then again, there was still some English decorum left in the beautiful old former rectory.
We had decided to extend our six night holiday to Oban, by "tacking on" a three nighter in Perth. How I wish we'd made it longer. Breakfast was the full Scottish, including black pudding. My partner was well-satisfied with this repast, and I was surprised by the combination of bacon with pancakes and maple syrup. How they do live in Perth! With this kind of breakfast fare under your belt, you're ready for up and doing anything. Our room was a nice size and quite pretty, and overlooked the garden. The bed was comfy and we slept well. The bathroom had the most brilliant walk-in shower - I normally hate showers, and feel like I need to be rescued from drowning - and there was lots of lighting to sort my make-up out. Tea-making facilities for us are of vital importance. I can quite safely vouch that they are the best we have encountered on our world travels. We have never before had a daily delivery of fresh milk to our door in a little metal flask! And equally as important, Beechgrove has Wi-Fi, with an excellent internet connection. Beechgrove is traditional with a twist. The hosts, Annie and David are such lovely people. They were so kind while we stayed there, and seemed to really care that we had a lovely time.
Perth is a wonderful town, but unfortunately, we weren't there long enough to explore it fully. It's like a smaller, calmer version of Edinburgh. The guest house is only a short pleasant walk away from town. There are lots of individual little shops and quaint eateries, as well as the Art Gallery and Museum.
While we stayed at Beech Grove, we also visited Glamis Castle, Blair Castle and Blair Athol Distillery and the wonderful House of Dun, near Montrose, where you get to see almost every room! We will definitely go back soon, and stay at Beechgrove.
My partner researched Perth Guest Houses on the internet. Usually, we book guest houses on personal recommendation. It just goes to show how helpful these reviews can be.
So long, Beechgrove, and thanks for all the bacon and pancakes!

Stayed 4 nights at this wonderful B&B. The hosts were friendly and extremely accommodating. Our room was quit large, very clean and comfortable, and overlooked their garden. Breakfast was excellent and quite filling every day. Annie and David were very helpful to two confused Americans looking for directions and suggestions about places to visit. I would unequivocally recommend Beechgrove to all.

Booked in for 2 nights to attend the Royal British Legion Scotland Annual Conference. First impression was excellent, beautiful old manse in lovely gardens. The interior was even better and the warm welcome was a taste of things to come. The room was immaculate and well appointed, the breakfast delicious with plenty of choice. David was always on hand to advise guests on the best places to visit and he and Ann were always very pleasant. It is very well placed for the city centre but quiet at the same time Will certainly book there again. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay

From the warm and personal welcome from Annie and David until the same 'Goodbye', it was an excellent 3 night stay at the Beechgrove Guest House.

The owners were attentive, never intrusive, and very helpful in making our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The guesthouse itself was only a 5-10 minute stroll into the City Centre, where local recommendations for somewhere to eat were handed out upon check-in, and great local tips on things to do and see were forthcoming.

The breakfasts were excellent and tasty (the home made porridge was excellent, as was the black pudding!), nothing too much trouble, and personalised tastes were remembered throughout our stay. The bedroom was comfortable with a nice garden view, with tea/coffee making facilities and fresh milk delivered each day. The showeroom was cozy but did the job and overall it was an superb stay, highly recommended and one we would return to.

Thanks for a most enjoyable stay and for some great hospitality.
