Stayed for one night in a very cold and snowy Dreghorn. Lovely little hotel which seemed to have had a very recent refurbishment. Rooms immaculate, free wifi and very helpful staff.

Was very impressed on a recent trip to this area. Staff were very helpful, polite, pleasant, approachable etc. The room we were given was huge, with a lovely red chaise lounge in the bay window... Fantastic quality for the price we paid. Would definately return to this hotel, even if they doubled their prices. Breakfast was gorgeous, fresh local produce. Will be recommending this hotel to anyone who is travelling to Irvine area.

Arrived here to stay overnight en route to the ferry-first impressions are it's a B&B,describing it as a hotel is slightly misleading. Our room was rather overcrowded with furniture-a double and two single beds which with the addition of the cot for our baby left little floorspace-there was only the three of us in the room, it would've been quite cramped if we were a family of four! The bathroom was beautiful with a huge jacuzzi but no shower which is a bit of an oversight if you don't have time for a bath in the morning. TV was tiny but did have Sky,there was no wardrobe or other furniture apart from a clothes rail on wheels which gave the room a slightly cheap feel, the mattress on our bed felt quite old-individual springs could be felt. The mattress in the baby's cot was very thin but this is the case in a lot of hotels so we used our own mattress. On balance, a nice enough place to stay but probably rather expensive for what is basically a B&B.

booked at the last minute and jumped in the car with my girl friend and off we went, very warm welcome when we arrived, hotel was quite quiet that nite, we had the old house to ourselfs as everyone was staying over the other side, very shocked at the price we paid for luxury, went up one set of stairs to be met by a huge hydro shower in a large bathroom with its own sauna, then up to our room we had a lovelly big room with mirrored wardobes all up one side and we thought it was pretty basic until the person who showed us the room pulled back one of the doors of the wardrobes and that took us into a huge on suite bathroom with the most humungus jacuzi bath we have ever had, must say the best bathroom we have ever had and well beats the penthouse suite in center parcs, the only downfall for us was the cooked breakfast as we didnt feel there was alot of variation on the menu. will deffinately be staying again hopefully very soon!

Stayed only one night whilst attending an event in nearby Stewarton.
The first thing you notice is the cleanliness,... the hotel was spotless.
The room although small was light and airy .
The food was excellent . We ordered an evening meal with our on line booking and the chef came out to cook our meal for us.
The staff were great , nothing was too much trouble.
I would definitely revisit this hotel when next in the area.
