As I said, great hotel, good location which I knew anyway having lived in Gourock for many years. The rooms were immaculately clean and accessible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental and had a good range of choices.Iwas also very pleased to be able to reserve a room without having a debit/credit card as I don't have either by choice, all other hotels please take note!

Stayed here for 3 nights while attending family party. We are originally from Port Glasgow so the hotel was a perfect base for visiting family and friends. This was the second time we stayed here, before we were at the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet, at the front you get a lot of traffic noise which could disturb you if you're a light sleeper. The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was your average continental and staff were very friendly and efficient. So all in all great value for money.

I stayed here for one night whilst on a business trip and could not fault anything. The Hotel provided clean, comfortable accomodation - a nice size bed and adjacent shower room at a good price. A simple but more than adeequate continental breakfast is provided. The staff were pleasant and helpful both to myself and a colleague as well as others we observed them dealing with. We needed a taxi and that arrived within a few minutes. All in all absolutely no problems at all for an overnight business stopover and at a very fair price, well done everyone. Greenock Central station is about 10 minutes walk away.

The hotel itself offered decent sized rooms and a comfortable bed. The hotel itself was a bit more upmarket than the average holiday inn express, probably becuase this was one of the franchise ones. The location is within walking distance of morrisons (5min), other than that the location hasn't got a whole lot going for it. It is a considerably quieter alternative to the glasgow airport hotels but is a 25min drive from it.
Wasn't too well after eating at the restaurant. Not convinced by the menu particularly either, some of the other people on this site use words like "homemade" etc, struck me more as frozen & microwave fodder....

Just spent 2 nights in hotel with my husband, attending a family wedding.
Cannot think of anything to complain of except the weather!
I should know better as I was born and bred in Greenock.
Room spacious airy and well equipped.Sockets next to mirrors hooray!
The hotel is super for short breaks if you want to tour the west coast but not for socialising and I think the price reflects that.
Did not eat in until the 2nd morning and found lots of choice in the continental style breakfast. Taxis to our wedding venue were punctual and reasonably priced considering fuel prices!
Staff attentive,friendly and polite.
Slept like babies until the alarm went off at 7.30 Sunday am.
False alarm and did not need to evacuate.Back to bed as breakfast served until 11am!
Seamless check in and out.
All in all a very good hotel
