Having been several times to this cafe myself, I have also now taken some family when visiting for a couple of days. The service is also quick with a cheery hello as you enter and if you happen to pop in during the lunch time rush, a table is soon cleared for you as it's vacated. Not something that happens in other places where I've been left to stack up dishes awkwardly on the edge of the table.
Good selection of food, yummy sandwiches (club sandwich is delicious) and the cakes are to die for!

Since the last time I visited the area, this cafe is a lovely new addition to Nairn High Street. Nice atmosphere, cheery staff and the food is great. I can highly recommend the venison burger.

The Whyte House is a lovely place, you would never believe it was an off licence not so long ago!! What makes The Whyte House standout from all the other tea shops in Nairn is the friendly staff, the homemade cakes and the range of food. It's so lovely to go somewhere where chips aren't on the menu. My daughter and nephew and niece love going in to decorate their own cupcake (inspired menu choice for kids!) and we are always made to feel welcome, even if we are in just before they are due to close. Love how they do food that is suitable for those on Slimming World diets, as well as plenty of more calorific offerings. Kerrie is a lovely "hostess", always smiling and sociable and the activities that she plans through the shop are just what Nairn needs. A real breath of fresh air on the High Street.
