Spent an overnight stay with friends at the Invernairne guest house. Very nice location beautiful views, very clean and spacious rooms. Doug and Kay were very welcoming and accommodating hosts.
Breakfast was of a very high standard with lots of choice served in the dining room with wonderful views across the Moray firth.

Just spent 3 nights here, was originally only 2 but accomodation and weather (yes Scotland in october) were so good we stayed another night. We had the Fort George room which must have the best view for the price in Nairn. looking down on golden sands listening to the waves. Not the greatest breakfast but enough to get you going for the day. Great shortcut to the beach, lovely breakfast room and friendly owners. Even has its own putting green.Just a pity they couldnt arrange for the dolphins to appear for our daughter. Looking forward to going back next year.

Actually a B&B, but we knew that. We also showed up a day early by mistake. Doug and Kay were most gracious getting us lodgings at another establishment. The NEXT night we got to stay at the Invernairne. :-)

Fantastic location right up from the beach with magnificent views. Lovely rooms, great breakfast and above all, wonderful hosts.

we stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. Brilliant place only feet from the beach lovely clean warm friendly place. The owners are SO lovely will do anything for you. The hotel is easy to find good sized room even though we were told it was a small double but it was fine good double size shower in on suite, I honestly have nothing negative to say about our stay, they accept dogs and spoil them rotten

Highly recommend 100%

Lovely house in a great location overlooking the sea. Breakfast excellent (black opudding would have been nice :-)) and the room large, comfortable and spotless. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

They don't have evening meals and it's a 10 > 15 walk into town. The bar isn't staffed so a bell is rung to attract service and you slightly feel your putting people out by interrupting. Maybe an honesty bar could work.

We would definititely return and highly recommend this hotel/guest house.

Room Tip: Overlooking the sea, Firthview, I think has a 4 poster bed and is very large and good Wi-Fi

Large guest house with very friendly owners. Somewhat dated decor and bathroom but comfortable enough. Great location with private avenue to path above beach.
About 15 minutes to walk to centre of Nairn and some good restaurants (no dining at guest house).
Good parking and strong wifi in room.
Breakfasts are excellent - a good range of healthy muesli, seeds and fruit. The cooked element is pre-prepared and self-service with scrambled eggs, but other eggs can be ordered and are brought to the table (very good poached eggs, for example).
Overall, a good place to stay but at a slight premium price.
