This is small but friendly. We come here a lot. The food is amazing, prompt service, nice decor. We all love it. Reckon this is the best of the local Indian restaurants, reasonably priced, and with a buffet on Thurs and Sundays.
We especially like the sauces they serve, very fruity. Yum.

Having previously visited this place before some time ago where I found it to be ok. Was horrified by what our recent visit turned up. Not only were the staff extremley unfriendly the food was way beyond what you would expect. We were a party of four and the very next day two of our party including me got the worst case of food poisioning we have ever had in our lifes we both had the same dish ( a meat curry)

Chose the Royal Bengal over the other 3 Indian Restaurants in Nairn as it had been recommended to us. I am glad we did.
I have never had better Tandoori King Prawns anywhere, they were large, succulent king prawns perfectly cooked in the Tandoor oven and came out on a sizzling platter.
My partner had a lamb dish and the meat was tender and sauce very tasty.
The owner was in the restaurant and was very attentive to our requirements.
The place to go for Indian cuisine while in Nairn.
They also have a buffet on twice a week, which at £8.95 is great value.

I ordered take out from here. The service was slow and staff all looked depressed. Not one smiled. When the food finally arrived the sauce we received was full off mould and the taste off everything else was just bland and not as good as other take outs I have tried. Will not be going here again
