We had dinner here on our first night in Nairn. Our hostess at the B and B recommended Sunny Brae and make our booking for us. We were within walking distance, so even better!! John showed us to the lounge overlooking the Moray Firth and we chose a very nice Grenache, a glass of which we partook whilst perusing the menu. When our first course was ready, Ian showed us to our table and offered crisp bread slices. We had the salmon rillette and crispy bacon tart, both served with tasty salads and beautifully presented. We followed this with roasted guinea fowl and a local Nairn lamb casserole. All delicious, and our wine went perfectly with all our choices. Ian showed us the whiskey list ...of 17 pages and it was difficult to choose one, but he knew something about each one!! The menu changes daily, so you would be difficult to please if you couldn't find something to have. We loved our meal at Sunny Brae. Congratulations to Sophie the chef and the men of the family who deliver excellently!!!
