“Lovely food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2014 via mobile

Went with husband and 11 month old. A Small cafe but a big welcome. Very friendly staff, good food and excellent menu choices. So nice to go to a seaside cafe and have something other than chips! I had a pepper and halloumi panini, my husband had bacon, eggs and toast. The staff were very helpful to a blind customer and his guide dog. Would definitely return if in the area.

“Wonderful Tapas evening at Basil's Harbour Cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2014

Thank you for a really great evening. The food was delicious & service spot on, as always. Plus you made it a terrific fun night with your good nature despite all of us noisy women. Thanks again, we'll be back.

“Really good little cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2014

We have visited here a few times now and on each occasion have found the food to be fresh, tasty and reasonable value. The coffee is really good too. The staff are also friendly and happy to have a chat. We didn't feel rushed. It is also child friendly. The only negatives are it's quite small and gets busy so can be tricky to get a seat! (although that's a good size) Amd there aren't any baby change facilities.

“Well worth a visit.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014

This is a small but busy café/bistro on the harbour front. Our group (3 adults and 2 young children) enjoyed soups, sandwiches, toasted Panini, poached egg and beans and all were freshly cooked and most enjoyable. The Cullen skink would be well worth a return visit on its own. Service was friendly and efficient, prices reasonable.
