“Pure delight!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

I had been looking forward to this part of my journey from Norfolk to Scotland more than any other part and I was not disappointed. The scenery was stunning; changing from one stop to another and I saw three deer which really made my day.

“Excellent scenery”

Travelling by train allowed one to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the Scottish wild life without having to concentrate on driving on the very narrow winding roads

“so pretty and slow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

for a train ride it has it all scenery gentle travel and a tea trolley (May to Sept) what could get better - a stop at plockton maybe for a few hours or an hour at the kyle for some cullen skink at the deli both highly recomended

Spectacular views as the train travelled from Plockton to Inverness. Sit on the left side for best views of the water

“Kyle of Lochalsh to Dingwall”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2012

What an experience. The scenery was stunning with one mountain after another. The whole trip was one eye opening sight after another. The young man selling the certificates to raise money to rebuild a signal box was so knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. The staff on the train were pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
