We booked this hotel as an overnight stay before starting the Three Peaks Challenge. We arrived late at around 8.30pm having driven up from the Midlands in horrendous weather. Richard was very welcoming and hospitable and even bought us three drams of his finest single malts to taste and warm us up. We had booked a triple room with en-suite and at £20pp for the night was good value and the room was comfortable and clean. We paid £10pp for the breakfast which was very good with plenty to eat and a meaty protein full Scottish Breakfast to set us up for the day, all cooked to order. Also cereal, juice, toast, muffins & yoghurts all accompanied by some great views down to the Loch and the Corran Ferry. As we were the only people in residence we could have breakfast when we wanted, so opted for a late 10am breakfast which was nice. Thank you Richard for a homely and welcoming stay.
N.B. Richard now only runs the establishment as a B&B so the bar is closed, for a drink we walked the 10 minutes up the road to the Four Seasons Bar at the Inchree Chalets which had a lovely open log fire and a nice real Ale on the pump! If you contact the hotel directly Richard will prepare you a home cooked evening meal.More
