Owner description: Described as the greatest railway journey in the world, this 84 mile round trip takes you past a list of impressive extremes. Starting near the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis, it visits Britain’s most westerly mainland railway station, Arisaig; passes close by the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, Loch Morar and the shortest river in Britain, River Morar, finally arriving next to the deepest seawater loch in Europe, Loch Nevis!

We drove by this as part of our driving tour of the the highlands in scotland. We stopped at a lovely little cafe in Ft Augustus and Fort William. It's such a pretty area. I want to bo back with the heather is in bloom. The old rails make a stunning photo op in any weather... fantastic!

“Great trip”

A fantastic experience with beautiful views. We had a short stop in Mallaig - just enough for a brief tour and a nice lunch before a return journey to Fort William. Would recommend first class and a bottle of bubbly for a special occasion!
