On my birthday we planned to go to Scotland. The first place in Scotland we went to was Glencoe. It was a very beautiful and A scenic place. There was a lake in front of the hotel CLAN MacDuff and, at the entrance there was a truck, farmers farming and a tractor made of Legos. The breakfast hall was very spacious, and the service was excellent. It also had a beautiful front view of the lake which was very calming and beautiful, the carpet was very stylish and gave a Scottish feel to the room and beautiful crystal white colored cloth spread on the table. The room was comfy, and the bathroom had good facilities. The staff was also very cordial and efficient. I highly recommend this place for everybody who is visiting Scotland. Thanks to the entire "Clan" team!!

I stayed here for a week through work . I was disapointed with room and food .
Toilet was small pan right next to door which you couldn't sit proper unless you opened toilet door . Shower was small compact . Spiders webs and ceilings in room and breakfast area.
Food was not the best tasted like all reheated and not freshly made ,steak pie was like steak pie soup no meat the burger was dry and tasteless. I got steak one night deep fried by the look of it. Staff are nice big percentage of staff foreign and aim to please .

Stayed in this hotel for two nights with my partner in October and was blown away. Huge car park with ample room for the hotel, which is right on the banks of Loch Linnhe. It is around a ten minute drive from the centre of Fort William so might be a bit far out if you aren't driving. Personally we preferred this as its nice and quiet. The views from the hotel are stunning, and the lounge, restaurant and bar all have huge windows so you can make the most of this view. The receptionist was lovely and cheery, and gave us a hand up to our rooms. Our room (number four) had lovely views of the loch and a small balcony, which would be amazing in the warmer months.
Breakfast was good, with a large choice. You could order a hot breakfast and there was a buffet style continental breakfast selection with cereals, pastries, fruit etc. I also noticed there was a large gluten free cereal and bread selection. My only gripe with breakfast is that the vegetarian hot breakfast was not great. It appeared to just be a normal breakfast without sausages, bacon etc. A wee vegetarian sausage would have been great!
We also ate in this hotel one night and the food was brilliant. Our waitress, a young blonde girl with her hair in a bun, was brilliant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very chilled, and the food and drink is all reasonably priced.
A great hotel, I would definitely return!

Room tip: Room 4 has lovely views and isn't too far from reception.

Booked here for a very last minute 2 night break on bed and breakfast rate and we were not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and had everything we needed and the breakfast had lots of choice. Our room was at the back of the hotel so no view however this was reflected in the price and we did not spend much time in the room so it was not a problem.

First night we walked into Fort William town centre for dinner and drinks, lovely walk along the Loch and took approximately 35mns. However on the way back part of the road has no street lights and we had to use the light from our phone. 2nd night we drove in (6mns) and parked at the long stay car park just before the town, we also used this car park during the day to walk to the train station.

Hotel is perfectly situated to explore Fort William and to relax in the lounge after a busy day enjoying the amazing view. We would hope to stay again in the future.

We stayed in the hotel on our journey back from the Western Isles lovely welcome even though we checked in quite late. Very clean, attentive staff. The food is simple and very tasty and a great well priced bar. Nice room good size with all modern requirements.
The views across the loch are magnificent.
