My partner took me here for three nights as a surprise 30th birthday present and what a present it was! I could not have imagined a more perfect location with amazing views over the loch and the hills to wake up to in the morning.

The cabins are lovely, clean and comfortable, with everything you could ever need from self catering accommodation. The owner Ian was friendly and warm and on hand to give us advice on the area/provide us with a local taxi number. I did not meet Sharon, although my partner did and said that she was equally as helpful and friendly.

I cannot wait to come back here to stay (remember to bring bread and jam for the pinemartin!). An absolutely perfect break in a wonderful location!!

Just returned from a 3 night break with my girlfriend. I have nothing to complain about. The chalets are top notch, very spacious, very clean, very warm, has everything in the kitchen you would expect. The views are out of this world across the loch and mountains. Ian and Sharon were perfect hosts and would make sure we had everything we needed. Amazing 10/10 cant fault it.

We're just back from a lovely bank holiday weekend break. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome by Sharon and Ian. The chalets are clean comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The view from the chalets is beautiful. It's wonderful to wake up to a view of the Loch and mountains.
We were accompanied by my brother and his 2 children from London who was also very impressed by the Chalets and location. We were only half hour away from Fort William. You can do as much or as little as you want. Walks for all abilities, water sports, cable cars to the mountain top, fishing, all within the local area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning.
A special thank you to Ian who was kind enough to make arrangements for a bbq and clear it away for us too. Very much appreciated.

Discovered thanks to some friends many years ago, we now go every year, twice some years!
We love this peaceful, calm and scenic place to chill out, fish and relax. The chalets are very clean, with well stocked kitchens for all you need to self cater. Warm and cosy in bad weather, sun traps when its warm. Pine martens visit us every night, deer graze behind the chalet and a walk along the shore to see many birds. Barnie (the dog) has always been welcome and enjoyed many a swim in the Loch. Sharon and Ian are the hosts you want, always available if needed and willing to help in offering advice re where to eat, walk or visit. Close to Glen Coe, Fort William and Ben Nevis but off the beaten track for peace and tranquility. Would strongly recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, fishing or just needs peace and quiet. There is good internet access for those who need to keep in touch with the world, TV and DVD; but we just love to leave it all at the border. Look forward to being there very soon.

Room Tip: All chalets have a good view and don't overlook. Dog friendly chalets very comfortable.

Just back from a 3 night break in Salmon lodge - wow, what a great weekend - as all the other reviews say the views are spectacular and so much to do within easy reach. First day Glencoe village and the stunning views of the Glencoe pass, second day Fort William and the Gondala at the Ben Nevis Range and third day Oban for McCaig's tower and Ganavan Sands beach, brilliant days out and each evening we looked forward to returning to the warm cozy lodges for dinner and drinks. We were very lucky with the weather - cold but bright sunshine all weekend, perfect with the dusting of snow still in places. Highly recommend and I'm sure we'll be back as so much more to see in the area - wish we'd had a full week.

Room Tip: All the lodges have great views, some have a double and twin others 2 twins and some allow dogs - ju...

This is a wonderful place peaceful with superb views. Pine martens visit most evenings.
Loads of great walks close by. I sail a dinghy off the beach across the road.

Love it no matter what the weather. Can't wait for our next visit

Loch Leven Holidays, by the shore of Loch Leven and close to Glen Coe, is a privately run site of 8 timber chalets and a luxury cottage, all self catering. The site is run by the ever friendly and hardworking pair Ian and Sharon Ashwell. Believe me no-one could make you more welcome or be more helpfull and obliging than this lovely couple. My wife and I have been holidaying here almost every year since 2001, sometimes twice a year. Coming here always feels like coming home!
The chalets, each of which accommodate upto 4 people, are comfortable, well equiped and suberbly sited opposite the 'Pap o' Glen Coe' with glorious views across the loch.
Although I have never stayed in it myself, I do know that for a larger party the cottage is luxury itself.
The site is close to all the amenities you could wish for in Scotland's 'Outdoor Capital' of Lochaber. If you want a relaxing, or maybe not so relaxing, self catering holiday in the Scottish Highlands I cannot recommend Loch Leven Holidays highly enough.
