I have never stayed in a hostel ( other than YHA) before and for the price this was very good value for money.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist, comfortable beds - bunks.
Showers were powerful and warm. Could have done with more wall hooks though.

We were transferred to this hostel after our original one overbooked and couldn’t fit us in. We parked in the car park across the street which is free overnight but paid after 8am and only short stay. We got a room for the four of us with 2 wooden bunk beds. The beds were a bit squeaky when you moved but reasonably comfortable. Towels were £1 to hire which is much better than most hostels I’ve stayed at. The bathrooms are shared and the showers only have a flimsy curtain for privacy which isn’t ideal but the water was hot and plentiful. Toiletries were available for purchase if you forget. Kitchen facilities looked reasonable but we didn’t make use of them this time. The lounge area was nice for getting to know the other people in the hostel. The people running the place (not sure if they were the owners) were lovely and really helpful. Would stay here again.

Well-priced and a great location. It has a big drying room to put your soaked clothes in after finishing a dreich day's walking. Kenny was really helpful when I'd left some kit at the hostel and managed to get it back to me, great service.

Friendly helpful staff on reception. Very basic accommodation. Basic communal areas & cooking facilities. Clean but very dated. Noisy during the night. Centrally located. Near bus station, train station, supermarket as well as being near town centre. We stayed here when climbing Ben Nevis. They kindly stored our bags for no charge. Perfect for what we wanted accommodation wise.

We were 4 Persons and had a room that would have been too small even if i was alone. We paid 90 pounds for a room that wasnt worth 10.
The showers were shared and we couldnt lock the doors.
Maybe the worst Hostel I ever had to sleep in!
