Spent 3 nights in this hotel as part of a coach tour. The first thing to greet us was the queue for the lift which was restricted to 2 persons by a notice taped over the manufacturers sare working load. As almost all the coach passengers were of pensionable age this was obviously going to create problems at certain times of the day.
The room had only 1 window which only opened about 3 inches onto a central area of the hotel where the air conditioning units discharged their hot air making our room unbearably hot but luckily we had found an electric fan in the corridor which we put in the room and this made it bearable.
The restaurant service for the evening meal was very good and the food was good. The breakfast set up was chaotic, the food was all set up in one area so there was people getting cooked breakfast clashing with those getting continental breakfast who were clashing with people making toast who were clashing with people making drinks. Bearing in mind that there were 3 coach loads staying here it doesn't require much imagination to understand the chaos.
Everyone commented on the chaos and the general consensus of opinion was to split the various areas up around the room.More
