“Beautiful spacious cottage with amazing views”

This cottage has everything you could wish for: comfortable furnishings, spacious rooms, a very well-stocked kitchen, a wide range of books, DVDs and board games and absolute peace and quiet! The views are astonishing and you are incredibly close to nature with deer, hare, birds and bats coming in and out of the garden. It is also easy to find and in a great location to do all sorts of activities. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

“A superb place to get away from it all!”
Reviewed April 5, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

An excellent cottage in an absolutely beautiful setting. The cottage was comfortable and homely with everything we required including suitable cooking equipment to cook for six. The boys loved exploring the grounds. We enjoyed two super walks from the cottage and explored further afield by car. Lots to see and do if you enjoy the outdoor life and amazing landscapes.

“Perfect location, stunning views and a great house”
Reviewed February 21, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We had one of the best family holidays ever in this house. The first thing you notice is the size of the garden, it's massive and is great for exercising your dog if you haven't already worn it out with one of the many local low level or mountain walks. The house has everything you need, and the extension is a great place to chill out in the evening, especially if you're lucky enough to get the views over to Aonach Mor and Ben Nevis. Loads of space for parking and a well kitted out kitchen. Great communication from the owner, a well deserved 5 stars. Fantastic!

“A well equipped and maintained cottage in a beautiful rural location.”
Reviewed November 3, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Staying at Coille Diobhain has been an absolute pleasure. The cottage is charming and so perfectly equipped it makes your stay hassle free. We had great communication with the owner and the information pack sent seemed to answer every little question you could have had without going over the top. The area has so much to offer whatever the weather. We have visited this area annually (not our only holiday I may add) with friends for the past eight years and still have a list of things as long as your arm that we want to do. The kayaking and mountain biking in the area is so good that during our numerous visits over the past eight years I still haven't managed to fit in a trip to a distillery even though I have a great fondness for their product! I must manage my time better next year!

“Cool”
Reviewed October 7, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Driving up the mountain to the house was extraordinary. The directions spot on and the place spotless. Loved the breathtaking views and the little red deer that kept us company. The bedding superbly clean very warm. The fireplace room excellent we had the fire every night and looked forward to it after a long day of hiking Nevis and going on the Jacobite train. The house is perfectly located to enjoy a day out in any direction. The parrelels breathtaking.

“Superb Cottage in a fantastic location”
Reviewed September 3, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

What a magnificent cottage in a truly magical location overlooking Ben Nevis.
Every home comfort provided for a family of seven celebrating a Golden Wedding.
Set in its own grounds, accessed by a private road and offering comfort, seclusion with deer and superb views what more could you ask.
Four bedrooms furnished to a high standard, with a conservatory and wood burning stove to keep you occupied while viewing the wildlife and mountains.
A selection of books and DVD's together with WiFi and a wall mounted television caters for all of your needs.
Highly recommended and well worth a visit.
Definitely a holiday cottage you will want to return to.
Many many thanks from family Watkins, Southport.
