Spent two nights here. A very friendly welcome from Ian and his mother. Tea, coffee, biscuits and Wimbledon in the sitting room upon arrival. Room (+ en suite) was basic, but had all we needed, including bath, powerful shower, very comfortable bed and good wi-fi provision. Impressive breakfat with excellent service. The scones were magnificent and Ian's sense of humour was a definite plus. To be recommended.

Last night of The West Highland Way.
The welcome I received was friendly and warm, I asked about drying my wet gear, the lady who met me at the door immediately took my wet clothes and put them out on the line to dry off.
My room was large with tea and coffee making facilities, bonus here, I had access to a bath, nice long soak for me !!
The only down side to the room was that it had a damp fusty smell, this was easily cleared by opening the window, it smelled like the carpet had once been wet.
Breakfast was excellent, I met Ian who appeared in full kilt.
The food was very tasty, lots of it and very attentive.
Looking at the building, in its hey day, it would of been very impressive with a commanding view over Fort William, sadly it is now looking a bit run down and tired.

A fantastic welcome awaits from Ian - an ideal B&B host. The rooms were clean and fresh as were the shared facilities (would be nice to have private but I think we were the only ones using them). The breakfast was delicious - this was the start of our Great Glen Way walk and my husband had a cooked breakfast every morning (5 mornings) and this was the best! Ian and his Mum are very hospitable, accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area. It can look a little old fashioned from the offset but don't be put off by this if that isn't your thing, its a great place to stay.

What a wonderful Scottish welcome we received when we arrived at Rhu Mhor! We were immediately shown to our rooms and offered afternoon tea in the downstairs lounge room.
Rhu Mohr is in beautifulFort William and a block or two from the main centre of town, an easy five minute walk.
Our room was large with space for chairs and somewhere to put our bags!! The ensuite is huge and recently updated. The building overall is a beautiful old home with character, it is slightly dated but the fabulous hospitality makes up for and overshadows everything else. When we arrived back after dinner we were invited to tea and biscuits in the lounge one again! Such hospitality and customer service is fabulous, these people should run a school on how to run a B&B.

Room Tip: Book if you want value for money in a great location with wonderful hospitality.

Great quality for the price in Fort William. The breakfast was very nice, with option of the full Scottish breakfast or a continental breakfast. Very friendly owners, and we felt warmly welcomed. The room was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom clean, and the garden beautiful. Just a short walk down to the center of Fort William (10 minutes). We recommend this guesthouse!

The rooms in Rhu Mhor are slightly dated (although the bathroom was new), but this suited the place very well. Rhu Mhor is a beautiful old house situated in a breathtakingly beautiful garden. Ian and his mother are very courteous hosts. Breakfast was delicious and at 11 pm we got served tea in the lounge (the only place with wifi). The lounge is a special room full of dolls and antique. Ian is a real scotsman proud to wear his kilt every day.

Fort William in itself isn't that great, but we were only passing through, so we didn't mind.

Only remark: the hallway near our room smelled of second hand tobacco smoke.
