I have just returned from my third trip to Lochaber Lodges in Moy and, what can I say? It was total bliss. These lodges were perfect. They are extremely comfortable and have everything you could need (or want) during your stay, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, flat screen TVs, wifi and an en-suite in the master bedroom. We had a two bedroom lodge and there were four of us staying in it. There was plenty of room for everyone and the beds were really comfy too! All of us agreed that it’s some of the best self catering accommodation we’ve ever stayed in – perfect!
The best part of my stay though, was waking up to some of the best views that Scotland has to offer. The lodges are in such a beautiful location, with stunning views of the Nevis range right in front of you. Everywhere you look there is another beautiful view to take in. We were lucky enough to be able to sit out on the decking and it was so peaceful and relaxing, watching the boats going along the Caledonian Canal and soaking up the scenery.
They’re easy to get to from Fort William, roughly a ten minute drive, and once your there you can do as much or as little as you like, depending on the type of holiday you enjoy. There are some beautiful walks in the area (check out the walks near Loch Lochy -more stunning views) and more adventurous activities are just a short drive away if you want them.
A special thanks to the site manager, Frank. He’s friendly and very helpful (but not intrusive) and is full of information about things to do and see and places to eat etc.
Every time we’ve been, he’s made us feel very welcome.
Everything about my stay here was excellent. Lochaber Lodges offer great accommodation in a very special place indeed…I’ll definitely be back.

We have just returned from our 12 day holiday in Scotland and we have stayed 6 nights in Lochaber Lodges. We have 3 children from 3-6, and we have gotten the perfect lodge right next to the play area. It was a 3 bedroom lodge with a high standard neutral decor, including a dishwasher, flat-screen TVs with a built-in DVD player(one in the living area and one in the master bedroom), 2 bathroom( one en-suite), etc... The entire lodge was kept to the same temperature during the night with the easy-controlling central heating system. It is located in an isolated place yet only ten minutes drive from a big Morrison and the high street. It was so quiet where you can only hear the stream flowing and the birds singing with a magnificient view of Ben navis and other mountain. It is also well located within a easy reach of Fort Augustus, Loch Ness, Fort William, and for a day-trip for Inverness, Isle of Skye etc. We have been travelling quite a lot, but this was one of the few cottages we would really like to visit again. At last, special thanks to Frank for his warm welcome which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable

We didn't get our usual trip to Cyprus this year but stayed at Lochaber Lodges
instead. PTotal bliss! The lodges are very impressive - so comfortable with all the mod cons and even better than they look on the website. The staff couldn't do enough for us, with so many personal touches. It was 5*+ treatment. The lodge was a good base for seeing so many beautiful Scottish sights proposed by the management. They will also give good advice on where to eat out - excellent meals in delightful surroundings. This
was our first time and it will certainly not be our last. Thank you Nancy,
Malcolm and Frank. We will be back.

We have just returned from our second holiday this year to the lodges and can't wait to return for a third time! These lodges really are a hidden gem. We love this place. The lodges have everything you need including all mod cons, flat screen tv, dishwasher, microwave fridge, freezer even wifi! Thoroughly modern interior which is what we wanted. The views on the drive in to the lodge are amazing and the views from the decking are fantastic and can be different each day depending on the weather. Didn't use decking much at Easter as it was very cold and snowy but got to use it alot this time, so quiet and peaceful. There is lots to do in the local area, fantastic drives, outdoor activities, boat trips etc etc. Frank the site manager is so helpful and friendly and has lots of local knowledge if you need any tips or advice on places to go. The only downside to our holiday was the 8 hr drive home! But definately worth it for this place!

We were lucky enough to spend a week at these lodges at the beginning of July.

What can I say that other reviews haven’t already said? These lodges are great – higher spec than my house! The lodges are exactly as it said on their website – leather sofas, TV with some digital channels, dishwasher, (our lodge even had a washing machine/tumble dryer!) – basically all mod cons.

We were able to sit in the lodge watching the boats go up and down the canal (and if the weather had been better we would have been able to sit outside on the decking). There is also a small play area where the kids can burn off some of their excess energy.

All through our stay we were made more than welcome by Frank the site manager who was always about in case of need but never intrusive. Frank also advised us on the best places to visit (even before we arrived he had sent us some brochures on golf and horse-riding so that we could plan our days in advance).

We will definitely be back!

We have just come back from a mid week break at Lochaber Lodges. We were looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy some beautiful scenery and this place surpassed all expectations.
The lodges are showroom quality with all the extras to make you exceedingly comfortable, but it’s the views that really make this holiday special. From your balcony you look out over the Caledonian Canal, beyond that a beautiful forest and on the horizon is the awe-inspiring snow capped Ben Nevis. I can’t express enough how special this place is.
There are 8 lodges in total each positioned so that your view is private. The site is very peaceful and the quaint children’s play area is positioned out of view and earshot of the lodges’ balconies. The nearest shops and restaurants are a ten minute drive which suited us as we wanted to be away from crowds so be prepared to stock up on your way in.
One thing that made the holiday for us was the kindness and service of Frank, the site manger. We had major car problems and Frank was on hand to help and even offered to drive us around. He couldn’t have been more accommodating.
We love Lochaber Lodges and will definitely be back soon. If you’re lucky enough to be staying there soon please give our regards to Frank.

We Stayed at these stunning lodges for the Easter Weekend and I was so impressed I have already booked a second holiday here in Sept.

The place is truly outstanding, and provides a perfect retreat for a luxurious, relaxing getaway. The owners are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome, and stressed that if we needed anything during our stay we would call.

The lodges themselves are fantastic and are full of modern equipment. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave.and full size oven and hob. Infact I would go as far as saying it was better than my own kitchen at home. The living area was very roomy, with 2 leather sofas, modern glass coffee table and large flatscreen LCD TV with built in DVD player. There is also free wireless internet access.

We booked a three bedroom lodge and each one of the bedrooms were lovely. Tastefully decorated in modern contemporary style with really comfy beds too. The cabins all have central heating so no problems even in the cold weather.

The views from the lodge itself are breathtaking, and there are many different walks or for the more energetic perhaps a bit of mountain climbing as Ben Nevis is right at your doorstep.

Overall, this is the perfect place to have a lovely, relaxing holiday or romantic break and I just cant wait to go back.
