“Would absolutely stay here again”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

My wife and I stayed here on vacation a few weeks ago, and the Braeside House couldn't have been a better place to spend our first 2 nights in Scotland! Paul and Aileen are the ultimate hosts...they were more like friends than innkeepers. They have an incredible knowledge of the area, so definitely ask them for advice and thoughts. The rooms were lovely, and the breakfasts were absolutely amazing! (How can you not love freshly baked bread every morning??) The Braeside House has free off-road parking, and it's only a 5-minute walk down to the center of town. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Scotland!

We stayed at Braeside House for 5 nights in family room with lovely views over Loch Linnhe. Paul and Aileen were lovely people and made us feel very welcome. They were very helpful with their local knowledge and had plenty of ideas of things for us to do. We can't wait to go back and will definitely recommend to all our friends and family. Oh,and their homemade wine is great.

We stayed at Braeside House for 2 nights at the beginning of August and we enjoyed it very much. Paul and Aileen are excellent hosts, make you feel very welcome.
The B&B is really 5 minutes on foot from city centre.
Breakfast is served in a lovely room with great views over the lake. The quality of food is outstanding, you don't need to fill in a menu the night before but can choose on the spot. The homemade pancakes are delicious, our child loved them.
Our room was also very nice, spacious compared to other B&Bs, with many nice extras.
All in all we had a lovely stay despite the weather. Our son was made feel very welcome too, he still mentions you both.

Gracias por todo, Paul y Aileen! Hasta pronto!

What a great place to stay, Paul & Eileen are incredibly friendly, welcoming and pointed us to some great places to see in the region. Great rooms with sensational views from the main one and the breakfast was bloody good, special mention to Paul's pancakes from the other 3 I was with. 5mins walk to nice town centre and the wifi was the best we've had so far.

I'd like to mention that the towels smelt very nice and that the gentlemen who gave this an average rating must be a flogger as we had family of dear out of the back room window.

Will be telling our family and friends to come stay at Braeside.

Room Tip: There actually isn't a pool or fitness centre but I can't in tick them.

Stayed here in July 2013. Aileen and Paul went out their way to make everything perfect. From picking us up at the train station to dropping us at Ben Nevis, from providing excellent breakfasts and of course a lovely house. The view from the conservatory is fantastic.
If you are staying in Fort William I would highly recommend that you stay here.
