Really nice couple running a brilliant guest house with exceptional views over the loch. The breakfasts were great with lots of choice and local produce. Home baking by Aileen and brilliant breakfasts from Paul. Very helpful on local knowledge which led us to some memorable trips out. The bedrooms were spotless and comfortable. There is a drying room to hand which is very useful although we did not have cause to use it (fine weather). We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and if it was closer we would be back regularly for weekends.

Room Tip: All rooms are good.

We had 2 lovely nights at Braeside House with Aileen and Paul and can thoroughly recommend it. Very clean and comfortable with nice touches in the rooms and the fluffiest towels I have ever had. The breakfasts were wonderful with great choice and the views from the breakfast room stunning. We realise we would have to book well in advance for the front room with the view as it is a popular place. Not far to walk back down to great eateries in the evening. Aileen and Paul are such a friendly couple and a warm welcome guaranteed. Hope to get back again before too long.

Room Tip: twin bedded room has snug en suite but very warm and clean

We enjoyed our stay here, welcomed in by Paul's warm greeting and unique smile. The room was comfortable and clean with a comfortable bed. Off road parking was a bonus. The view from the property is excellent, taking in Loch Linnhe, although only one of the guest rooms faces towards this view. Breakfast, however, is served in a conservatory that fully affords the scenery, with soft chill-out music in the background. The property is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the town centre, less than ten minutes (and a few steps) will get you to the Grog and Gruel for food or any of the shops. Breakfast was of a high quality. If I was returning to Fort William I would not hesitate to return to Braeside.

Room Tip: Room 4 has the view.

In August we stayed for 3 nights at Braeside House. A beautiful room with great views over the Loch. Paul and Aileen are very friendly, warm and very helpful. They helped us with the planning of our trips around Fort William. Breakfast was delicious, try the pancakes! For us, it was an excellent ending of our holidays, we would recommend everyone who visits Fort William to stay at Braeside house.

Hired a couple of rooms for a few days during a family trip to the Highlands. Very warm, helpful and attentive hosts. Good Scottish breakfasts. Fort William's high street just 5 mins down the hill. No more than 6/7 mins from the foot of Ben Nevis. One of our rooms (at the front) had a view of the loch and hills beyond, and was a decent size. Sadly our other room was at the rear and had no view at all. The rear room also had a tiny shower 'room' but the shower worked OK. Both rooms had miniscule TVs. Have stayed at better places but is wasnt at all bad.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front on the ground floor.

This is a GREAT B&B, in all respects. Located about a 10 minute walk from town, with views out across Loch Linnhe. A warm and friendly welcome from Aileen and Paul, who are very helpful and attentive hosts without being intrusive. A lovely large, well appointed, en suite and immaculately clean room with private access. TV, wi-fi, nice biscuits! Undercover parking for our motorbike. A superb breakfast with venison sausages and haggis. Overall, absolutely spot on. Thank you for making our brief stay so pleasant. Will will definately stay with you again!

We had a 1 week trip through the scottish highlands and of all B&Bs we stayed at this was the one with the best atmosphere. The two hosts are both very nice and caring. The house has a great view, is close to downtown and the rooms - albeit a bit smallish - are comfy and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious. It's great value for the money.
