First nights stop prior to walking the West Highland Way, cant recommend highly enough. Great welcome, allowed our support team of 2 & a camper van to park outside their house and use the electricity, provided beers and jubilee cup cakes to our team! Allowed our other friends who were staying nearby to use their patio along with us for a few drinks prior to our big day.The rooms were very clean, lovely & fresh & fresh smelling. Every extra including toiletries and tea/coffee, flat screen tv and plenty power points. Comfortable beds, great breakfast and good banter by our hosts. Can see they put loads of effort in here, even fresh homemade muffins at breakfast, which annoyingly we forgot to add to our day bags for the walk! Will recommend to friends and if back in Fort William will be making a booking!

Room Tip: There is one bedroom with a front vieew and would be the nicest, however they are all of equal quali...

We stayed here the night before taking on the Three Peaks challenge. The owners Paul and Aileen made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The house is centrally located but away from any noise in the town which made for a good nights sleep. Because of an early start the next day they prepared a take away breakfast for us. The views from the front of the house are fantastic.

Aileen and Paul went out of their way to be helpful. Very friendly couple who are making a real go of their business. Don't be put off by the faded look of the exterior of the property. Room was recently decorated and clean and comfortable. Breakfast is taken from the conservatory which boasts a lovely view. I visited with my daughter for the purpose of climbing Ben Nevis. We were offered free loan of walking sticks and given a Thermos of tea for our journey and on our return given use of the excellent drying room for all our kit - it rained by the way.

Braeside is situated in a quiet residential area but is only a short (albeit steep) walk from Fort William town centre.

This was our third stop whilst completing John O Groats to Lands End. Despite arriving much later than we wanted on a gorgeous hot day Paul and Eileen couldn't have been more accommodating. They welcomed us in, took care of our bikes and suggested places to eat - very much needed. Best of all they did a wash for us and the clothes were ready and dried when we got up in the morning. The breakfast was lovely and the view whilst happily eating it was stunning - overlooking the water. The free WiFi really worked and was the strongest we had on a two week trip. From our experience a lot of B&Bs advertise it but in actuality the signal is so feint it doesn't work. If I'm completley honest over the two weeks we stayed in a couple more grander properties, however, this was by far and away our favourite stay. Paul and Eileen are apparently relatively new to the B&B trade too but you would never have known this. They are doing everything right and I wish them well for the future. The price was really good and if we're ever in the area again we'll have no hesitation in booking in a stay with them again. Keep doing what you're doing guys it was a pleasure to stay with you. P.s. we completed it on time and with no hiccups. The weather stayed fantastic until the last day - Sunday just gone.

Great guest house. The view is beautiful and Paul and Aileen cannot do enough to make you comfortable. Aileen even drove us to the train station so we would not have to pay for parking. Very friendly and helpful, highly recommend!
