“best burgers and chips”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

The burgers are delicious, they have seldom beer from the local area. The service was very busy because the restaurant was fully booked but they served fast anyways and stayed friendly and took their time to help us with the choice of beer.

“Good pub with good food!”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

We actually used the Trip Advisor Near Me Now app whilst visiting Fort William and this place caught our eye, and we weren't disappointed - we will definitely use the app again!

There were eight of us including four kids/teenagers, so we ended up going up to the Restaurant rather than staying in the bar which was a bit too crowded for us. Everyone was happy with their food; we all had mains followed by desserts and everything was really nice - really good "pub food". There was a good choice of food too and a few of us even opted for the boar! The food also arrived in a timely manner and the staff were very nice.
Note: it got very busy whilst we were eating, so if you're in a big group, you might be pushed to get a table.

Afterwards, a couple of us went to the bar for some drinks and it was a very nice relaxed and cosy pub atmosphere! The ale/craft beer and spirit selection is very good, but their fruity cider, wine and fizz selection is very minimal - fair enough, as most folks in the bar were walkers/outdoors type and so are more likely to want those drinks.

Happily stop in again if we're in the area! :)

“Lovely food and dogs welcome !”
Reviewed June 12, 2014

We found this pub on the dog friendly pubs website. It was really nice food but basic - burgers, pizza, fish n chips, steak and ale pie. Order at the bar and food came up really quick even though they were very busy with the restaurant upstairs.
Would highly recommend.

This is what you think of when you think of a pub. Good food, great service, lots of atmosphere. There were 5 of us and all were pleased with their meals.
