Fast and friendly service. popped in for lunch and returned again early evening for dinner. Good menu options, Stornoway black pudding was FAB. Excellent beer choices and even sold Stowford Press cider.

“Best Aberdeen Angus Beefburgers Ever!”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

My family and friends (4 adults/2 children and 1 dog) were made to feel very welcome. A wonderful real ale pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Food is excellent. The black pudding/Aberdeen Angus beefburgers were just glorious. Can recommend the chilli topping. My husband had the Aberdeen Angus beefburger and couldn't fault it. Service and friendliness of staff was excellent. Thank you!

“great food and drink”
Reviewed April 19, 2014 via mobile

In a nice older part of the main street, this place is a lively pub downstairs and upstairs is a quiter (very busy, 30 main wait) restaurant. Both menus are good and fair prices.

The pub food has a Text Mex and burgers quick and tasty vibe. A constant coming and going of walkers and people of all ages.

Craft beers are on tap and lots of whisky is on offer. Definitely well deserved for all those doing the 'Highliand Trail'

Great Angus burger and chicken quesedillia. Same kitchen cooks all the food in the restaurant and pub.

Live music too later on! :)

A well located pub serving great food. The chilli hogdog is top notch food and ideal for lunch. There is a restaurant above where you can dine at night .
