This place was great and a bit of a change to the usual pub grub. Fresh veg and sometex mex made it better

“Basic Pub food”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

We enjoyed basic pub food, good not great. There was a nice selection of beer. Reasonably priced but the night we were there our server was beyond awful. She consistently forgot to check on us. Our food was not prepared correctly. We wanted dessert but she walked by our table and didn't respond to our calling her over. We finally gave up, paid the bill and left.

“Very good food option in Fort William”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Went in early (just after five) and the place was fairly quiet soon changed though with walkers completing the West Highland Way making this their option for a drink to celebrate the end of their exertions. I had the special which was a highland cassoulet - chicken, gammon, sausage and veg served with garlic bread, and my wife had a lovely wild boar burger with 'boar bite chilli' topping and curly fries. We weren't expecting home-made curly fries so weren't too disappointed with the frozen ones which appeared. Both meals were much better than the usual pub fare and the microbrewery options available were excellent. The best thing is that you can try a wee sample first to see if you like it or not. Will definitely visit again.

“Best place in fort William”
Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

My partner and I stop here everytime we go to fort William. Good food good value.

Only let down is the rude miserable staff. Last time we visited we had just finished our meals when a larger girl rudely and without asking grabbed the condiments dish from our table and threw it at another table. Just a tip if you hate your job that much quit.

“Good for gluten free and regular”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

Husband is gluten free and had their chicken enchilada plus hard cider on tap. Staff was very accommodating regarding the gluten issue. Service was nice, food was good. No complaints.
