“Good Food but Unfriendly Service”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

Enjoyed the food - good variety - many traditional Scottish dishes. We actually ate here twice - the first time downstairs and the second time upstairs. Unfortunately, the service in both locations was the most unfriendly service I have experienced in Scotland. It was almost as if the staff felt that having to wait on us was a chore.

“Average food and service”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

We had a burger and a burito. Both were good but sure nothing special. It was almost not seasoned and the chicken meat was too dry.
It is very busy. We were lucky to find a table for two (wekkday around 6pm)

“Best Pub in Fort William?”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

This is a great pub with a fine choice of beers. It may be the best pub in Fort William and enjoys a brisk trade with locals and tourists. Reommended.

“So good we ate here twice”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

Excellent food and great value for money. An amazing array of whiskey in the bar - if we hadn't been climbing Ben Nevis the next day we would have given them a go! Highly recommend stopping by here for food.
