I arrived early but was welcomed in to their lovely house by Brenda, the lady of the house, and her son Liam, who must have been about 11 years old. On hearing that I worked in Gaelic Liam struck up a conversation in Gaelic. A lovely welcome on my arrival. They recommended some places to eat, told me how to use my card for free access the Ben Nevis Leisure centre and swimming pool and that was that!

The town centre is a 5 minute walk along the shores of Loch Linnhe away.

My room was lovely, clean and comfortable. There was a good internet signal. There was a different biscuit to go with my tea each day too :)

As well as their regular cooked breakfasts (the orders for which were taken in Gaelic by the remarkable Liam!) they had a daily special which was a nice wee treat. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs one day and it tasted great.

They have an upside down house, where we go upstairs to enjoy our breakfast with panoramic views of Loch Linnhe.

I stayed for 4 nights on business but would like to return for Leisure.

Steve and Brenda run this lovely place, just a few hundred yards from the town. Although never imposing they are very attentive and pay much attention to detail, including dietary needs. Her indoors avoids gluten and dairy, so Steve baked and bought in gluten free products and dairy free milk and yogurts etc. If we return to this area, would definitely look to book here again. Very clean, warm and tidy. They both love a conversation and are very informative

Friendly and welcoming, the owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Very clean and modern, excellent views. Huge selection of food for breakfast, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

Stephen and Brenda were very friendly and helpful hosts and they provided very nice lodgings. Everything was very clean and tidy. Our stay with them was one of the lodging high points during our eight days in Scotland.

We spent 3 nights here and it couldn't have been better for what we wanted.

We had a very spacious room with an extremely comfortable bed, cleaned each day and a sizeable bathroom.

Stephen, Brenda (and Liam) were fantastic hosts, very helpful with directions and things to do in the area. It was a real luxury to come back to such a warm, clean and comfortable house after long days trekking in the highlands!

Room Tip: The large room is very spacious.
