Although we couldn't get to the top of it (not easy when you see "Danger of Death" sign posted before you start the climb!) for the adventurers it's great! However do not fear, there are Lower Falls down the road, you could go for that instead, if you are afraid of heights..etc. Even from far, the falls are impressive, cannot imagine how mighty it must be up close!
Still thoroughly enjoyed it!
Note to the driver: the road to the falls -the part where you can drive upto- becomes a single track after a while but no big deal as they built plenty of pockets in the road to back out or tuck in.

A must see! Firstly, the drive up to the car park is very windy and great fun to drive. Don't be fooled by the many car parks on the way, drive straight on to the very end of the road from Fort William. The mountain path crosses a number of springs and becks and then opens out into the most wonderful glen, with the waterfall before you, a winding river. So very, very tranquil and utterly bewitching in it's beauty. A fun little wire bridge is nice to cross the river. When we were there, 5 RAF Hawks flew over head at about 200-300ft over the hill and down the glen, was a very exciting moment that in no way ruined the experience. I can't assure you'll see them too but who knows what you'll find in this spot.

Although it was a bitterly cold day, it was worth the walk to see this waterfall and the surrounding mountain grandeur.

It's a fairly rocky route this walk takes and some areas are a little tricky so you need to be pretty steady on your feet but the views along the way are amazing. However, nothing prepares you for what you see when you turn the corner as you enter the meadow. It is simply breathtaking! You spend about an hour or so walking the pathway past waterfalls and streams and stunning mountain views but then it opens up into the Steall falls meadow and simply takes your breath away. Don't miss it!

The waterfall was in full spate when I visited in March. I took lots of pictures and videos. Would recommend it for a quick visit, nice quiet setting too
