“bit out of town, but worth it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

We ate here after seeing the great reviews on tripadvisor. It was a rainy, cold evening so we were happy to be inside & seated right by the fire. Food was nice, atmosphere good. It is just a little way out of town, so you would need to drive.

“Good meal and good service”

After a good day out walking this was a great end to the day. Good atmosphere, plenty of variety to suit all tastes, lovely well cooked food. Good value for money with very pleasant, helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit.

“Hearty food and reception”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2013

Stopping in after scouting local rivers, we had an early lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The lunch menu simple but tasty and filling. Good local ales and knowledgeable staff. Recommend for an off the beaten track restaurant (despite it being at the foot of Ben Nevis).
We were only the second table for lunch but by the time we left all tables were full. Ample parking and a big fireplace.
