“The perfect way to finish climbing Ben Nevis!”

Good, honest food - interesting and varied menu (without leaving you overwhelmed by too many dishes), well presented and the staff are friendly and helpful too. Warm and cosy with a great atmosphere - just what you need after a long day's walking!

“Magnificent”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Real wonderful food in a fabulous setting, what else could you ask for - great real ale from a local micro-brewery and from the best brewery in the Highlands - the Cairngorm Brewery. We had the game casserole served with minted new pots and lovely cabbage. what a delight to get really good veg. Loved the barn setting, the massive log burner and the friendliness of the staff. Will be back soon with a great big smile on my face, thanks so much we really enjoyed our visit.

“What a find!”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

This Inn is in the middle of nowhere down a single track road near the foot of Ben Nevis but what a find! Brilliant food. It is like a converted barnhouse, rustic walls and old wooden long tables and chairs/benches depending where you are sitting.
The menu is varied however I eventually had the chicken with haggis and peppercorn sauce which was beautiful and melted in my mouth.
The average main course was about £15 and although we did not book in high season or weekends you would probably be advised to.
Would recommend this to restaurant to anyone up there - brilliant!

“Cosy and quaint”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

As we came off the hill last week the sight of the Inn with its lights framing the huge window and the smoke winding from the chimney was so tempting but we were all too exhausted to go in but vowed we would go the following evening which we did and it completely lived up to our expectations. Food, Service, Quality, Atmosphere - fantastic - in fact can't wait to go back again!
