Although we asked for an early check in to allow us to catch the 10.15 steam train to Mallaig, we were a little late arriving in Fort William from Glasgow that morning and eventually turned up on Wilma and Jim's doorstep at nearly 9.00pm in the evening. We were exhausted and greatly appreciated Wilma's warm welcome and the beautifully decorated and comfortable room and ensuite (with a lovely outlook as an added bonus). A good night's sleep was had by all with no noise from the quiet street. Parking was a breeze and it was free. The entire property is scrupulously clean. Breakfast was terrific and we met Jim who is quite a character and a delight to have a chat with.

This B&B is very well located in Fort William and my mother, my daughter and I really enjoyed the experience of staying here. I would absolutely want to stay here again.

Room Tip: Our triple room on the second level was lovely.

Kiwis on Tour
Stayed at 6 Caberfeidh in Fort William recently during our journey throughout the UK. Stumbled upon the B&B and Jim by chance and as a result found a hidden gem in Fort William. Four poster bed in a clean and tidy room with an excellent en-suite and shower. Breakfast was great as we're the hosts. Would recommend anytime+++

Nothing to fault here. Very warm welcome, stunning room with four poster bed and deluge shower and breakfast in the morning was second to none. Price was very good as the standard was so high. We had just finished walking the west highland way and this was the perfect place to recover.

Room Tip: Don't know about the other rooms but room 1 was stunning.

We have stayed in numerous B&B's in the past 2 years and this is the best that we have stayed in, so far. We arrived late on Easter Sunday and were given a lovely warm welcome by Jim. We stayed in the 4 poster double room and it could only be described as sensational. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated and preheated for our arrival. I took some photos of the room but they really didn't do it justice. The en-suite looked recently renovated and again was immaculate. Wilma clearly has an eye for interior design!

There were many options for breakfast. My boyfriend had the full Scottish and I had salmon and scrambled eggs. My boyfriend loves his food and still comments on Wilma's food. The breakfast tables are adjacent to the kitchen, which gives the space a very a homely feel.
Wilma also offers packed lunch for those wanting to walk up Ben Nevis. We had a big day of driving in front of us, so took her up on the offer of a ham and cheese sandwich, crisps, chocolate bar, piece of fruit and drink.

The whole experience at 6 Caberfeidl left us thoroughly impressed.

Stayed there with my partner in the 4 poster double room. Beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. 2 minutes walk from the high street, pubs, restaurants and shops which was very handy. We were very nicely welcomed by the hosts and the cooked breakfast in the morning we couldn't fault. Will be coming back to stay in the near future as over all our stay was great value for money. Thank you :)

Room Tip: Ask for the double 4 poster

We stayed here one night before catching the jacobite steam train tour. Both hosts and place are really good, they are very friendly and made you feel at home! Our room was big and nice, the only negative aspect was that our bathroom had only a bath and not a shower but they said they were about to change it very soon. Only 5 minutes walk from the train station. A lovely memory of Fort Williams!
